You should introduce some people that actually appreciate Tiesto like Mattivi and myself unlike Vlad who only bitches about how boring he was at his show @ SummerStage.

Actually i was trying to call Erwin to Holland and Tijs knows him because Erwin travels after him all over the world but he couldn't make it to NYC that time.
And sorry, i can't tell Tijs what to play. He is one of the people who is really addicted to music. He lives with it and for it 24/7 and honestly i never saw anybody who could be THAT dedicated to music. I think he knows better.

Guys guys guys. easy, easy. If i have a chance i will introduce him to everybody. I have no problems with that. Do not base your opinion about a dj only on the music itself, but also his/her appreciation of the crowd and his/her personality. I'm not a friend with many big DJs - only Ville and Tijs, but i can say that what you see is not what is in the reality. You can meet Tiesto, talk to him for a brief sec and leave with a totally wrong idea. I don't really care and Tijs will care even less, but he is a great guy ( not as great as Ville though LOL)

ive met tiesto a few times, once very personally in puerto rico. he was very friendly talked to me for a couple of minutes, took a picture with him(which i have framed btw!), and i thought he came off very genuine and friendly, like most of his dutch counterparts, armin, ferry, sander...then again ive heard some stories were he was a real asshole... i think we have to cut these guys some slack they are being bombarded by fans nite in and nite out, i guess they are going to have an episode every once and awhile.

Agreed. That's why I write it off as a bad day or bad mood. I know two people that have opened for him and expressed that he was an alright guy. He just told one of my other friends to "fuck off" for no reason one time. He was probably irratated by a bad night on the decks or something along those lines. I won't judge a dj until I meet them myself, and I'll still give them a little benefit of the doubt if they come off poorly in a short exchange. Some people just have a different demeanor.

Not kissing Tijs' ass but you, guys, need to give him some credits for his talent and as i said earlier addiction to music. This guy got a huge charisma, you won't see it in 3 mins of conversation but you have to believe me.
I think there are two types of Djs, the ones who will always be nice and talk to you and take 2 (3,4,5,6..) pix with you - like Armin and Ville or others - who are just about to leave but you catch them right by the exit door and it depends on thier mood - give you an authograph or not, take a pic or don't.
And yeah, Darude's name is Ville Virtanen, he is my passion, Damn, I'm flying to Vagas next weekend to see him. Can't wait! But... this is a totally different topic LOL

Hey man, just cause Im not digging his style right now, doesnt mean I dont respect him. And I wouldnt chew him up, Id just like to get in his head for a brief second and see what hes thinking, where he is going musically and why. And Ill be able to finally close the case on whether Tijs is "too cool" for his public.
