Actually sid thats not accurate. Gas's max capacity is 900. Space's capacity is well over 1000. Also although Home/Sublime can hold around 2000 the numbers are divided over numerous other rooms, balcony's e.t.c. which play other musical styles. Only Voodoo is Trance.
Judging on ticket sales the next A Night Of Trance will be right up there with Gas and Sublime. (Or right down there as you'd like to think :P )
Anyway it will be a bit of fun. You'll be pleased to know that Yoshi and I met to practice and spent the whole time working on the violin part. We all know exactly what tracks Yoshi and I are going to play :P

Josh, Gas/Progress/Sublime are weekly nights, x4 to see what they get monthly

Yes of course they are. A Night Of Trance is still one of Sydney's biggest trance events. <-- I'm very proud of my little baby

Has anyone been to 'Scattered' then? I think it's on this weekend. And when is trance played at Home in Sydney?

Good luck and may the force be with you.... |
hehehehehehe nahh thats cool Simon, I'll try and make the experience come to life on the forums
josh: well the drawcard is obviously Steve Helstrip and with all the promoting/spamming/brainwashing anything less than 1000 people would have to be a considered a loss. As Wade mentioned, Sublime/Progress are weekly events and most weeks dont have an international like Helstrip yet STILL pull numbers that promoters in Sydney only dream about. You would be stupid not to run a night that gets almost guarantee capacity everyweek ie Sublime/Progress
But all the best with the preparations as I am sure it will be a success. Extremely looking forward to this violin performance
