HeH.. since we are teenys this is our chance to discharge the energy for 13 hrs straight

you can thank the last minute addition of cokenfold, for armins ouster from ultra

I'm okay with Armin being on another stage. I hope he plays the same time as Tiesto or PVD. Then I can watch most of his set and make a few token visits to Paul or Tijs's sets. The acts I really wanna see at Ultra (because I won't see them elsewhere) are Junkie XL, Steve Lawler, Nu NRG, Danny Tenaglia (don't know how much, but wanna give him a chance), and, maybe, some Crystal Method. The other djs can be seen a billion times in Denver or elsewhere at the conference. Even missing Sander at Ultra would be okay, cause I can see him another time. I kind of wanna watch Armin, because I'm not sure if we're going to the Mixology show or not.

im disappointed as well. it means no armin for me this entire wmc armin was the reason i rushed to get a my tix

but i wont move from the main stage. esp since armin will proly play at same time as tiesto and the big names in the theater.

not to mention that if you leave the main stage area after 8pm, you wont be able to get back in, they will block off the area like they have the last two years, and then your screwed

Ain't THAT the truth, man.

Yeah, about Armin not on Main, I can see how ULTRA is lookin' at it, but it STILL suckx. He threw it down nice at TE, I really don't feel like checking some 'Sound Stage' shit where all those other djs who don't hold any interest for me are gonna be.

Posted by ClubGoddess on Mar-11-2005 15:34:

how far away are these stages from eachother?

Posted by kiteless on Mar-11-2005 15:38:

5-10 minute walk.

personally i think that they put Armin on the other stage because if they have all the big djs at the amphitheatre, then maybe it will be too packed. ugh i dun understand why they put Cokenfold there though, hes supposedly BIG he could totally be in anotehr tent. and how about f*ckin Skribble. EWWW

Well from going to the previous Ultras I still say it shouldn't be more than 10-15 minutes, the stages aren't that far apart. But of course your mileage may vary.

Been an Ultra veteran.. Depending on your location and time .. IF it's late night, and you are somewhere in front on the Ampitheater, yea.. I say about 5-10 mins .. walking directly to the stage. Try to get familiar with the park, that way you dont take long way... Short cut, and the fastests is getting through the Spiral stairs which are by the bayfront bathrooms..( take not of this, is better then the other way where EVERYONE crowds in to walk from ampitheater to rest of park ) .. and it shouldnt take you 30 mins lol .. to my experience, the worst was for Underworld, never seen the park that paacked for one artist. But considering there's no Underworld.. waling time to the Soundstage will NOT take you more then 5-10 .. ofcourse, try to be somewhere in the middle to the back of Ampitheater.. front is always Crowded.

honestly people dont leave the main amphitheatre much after 8pm, that place gets so packed that the police and fireman block off the entrances, due to they think it poses a fire hazard due to the overcrowding. take your chances but there is a decent probability you might get shut out, fyi they blocked off that area for underworld and pvd @ ULTRA 5, and i heard the same thing happened after tiesto last year, luckily i didnt leave that year.. but this year will be the biggest crowd ever so be aware of what could happen.

First of All, I think most of us can come together and agree that Kiteless is one of those "Some People"(See Rounder19's status, pa-lease)... hour and a half sets are trash-doo-doo! I honestly don't care if shit gets blocked off, because I won't be there, and it'll be perfect that Ultra shat on Armin by putting him right behind Moby on the "other" stage... After a quick round of trance, you guys can jam it out to Moby's live punk rock gig.

I really wanna catch ARMIN since its his firte time at ultra ...if I not wrong, he was a headliner last year but he ended up not playing !!! or 2 years ago, I dont really remember !!! . we'll see, i need to see sander, pete tong, armin, ferry and pvd !! jaja ..

i think the best night of the conference will be markus and armin @ ARMADA !!

i hope all you have the best times of your life like I always do when I attend ultra !!

How does telling you that the stages aren't that far apart mean I don't "get it"? Sorry, but the distance between the stages doesn't change one inch whether you are happy or sad about the length of the sets. And that's what the question was. Are you confusing me with someone else?
