Sorry, I don't see how I started a fight in this thread. Maybe you're just a little too sensitive to cuss words.

I remember crying to this one when I first heard it, it hs a bittersweet beauty about it so it'd be a must for me.

Do you know what year this was released? Was it like 1996 or something? If no one knows Im going to search it because I think this was the first song (cheesy as it might be) that sparked my interest in trance and then EDM in general, but I could never find it after I lost all my music and I think its because I was looking for it under a different producer.

Ok nm, I think it was last year. Maybe Im not insane and I really just cant find this damn song Im looking for.

New question - anyone else know of another track with the same title and different producer?

Posted by notadeejay on Mar-12-2005 05:48:

as irreverent as it may seem, and as much as i or ory dislike epic trance, i think they should play whatever your favorites are regardless of whether it's a pumping track or not. if it's your favorite and you've made that clear, then nobody should argue with that. in fact, because you've made such clear, the choice is automatically relevant no matter what it happens to be. how can something be inappropriate at your own funeral that you've requested yourself? besides, most or all of you will like other music more than trance by the time you die, if you still like music.

Ask someone with Discogs+ (or whatever the pay option is called) to search for it, 'cuz I couldn't find another release with that name.

Yeah, expressing an opinion is a horrible attitude. Comments like that are what start the flame wars in the first place.

Your adolescence is tiresome to say the least. You didn't 'express an opinion,' you purposefully stirred a flame war and you know it. Your shameless attempts at notoriety and individualism are old and sad.

Hybrid - Finished Symphony
Orbital - Halcyon and on and on

and my alltime fav track, which is so ironically named

Rodd-Y-Ler - Lifesigns

cant u just ban him!

on topic:
Andain - You Once Told Me
Delerium - Silence (DJ Tisto's In Search Of Sunrise Remix)
Massive Attack - Teardrop

Posted by blup on Mar-12-2005 12:05:

The Quest - C Sharp
Woody van Eyden - Unfinished Symphony (Funaki Remix) (other remix is also good, but not the orginal..)
Fire and ice - Souvenir de Chine (original mix)
Gouryella - Tenshi [Transa Remix]

I would agree that something beat-focused would sound horrible at a funeral. However, Energy 52- Caf del Mar (Humate Ambient Mix) is a beautiful track with no percussion, that captures the uplifting feel of the track but juxtaposes it perfectly with a melancholy, sad sound, and I think it would work perfectly without being tasteless.

Posted by Lil-H on Mar-12-2005 12:28:

I might go for
killerloop - chi mai
Schindler's list theme music violin (thats an awesome song)
perhaps tenshi

I would be most happy if it was completely silent during my funeral.

My brother was really into R&B/hip hop etc. The 3 songs I chose were:

Usher - Burn
Ludacris - Stand Up (thats right, in a church, his friends loved it)
Puff Daddy - I'll Be Missing You

Anyway, this has been playing alot on my mind recently, what 3 songs would I want played at my funeral? I've only yet to find 2.
The first would obviously be Delerium - Silence, the second would be this one which I think could possibly be the best trance tune ever.

Ayumi Hamasaki - M (Above and Beyond Remix).

If you have'nt heard this song before, I strongly suggest you find it, also has an awesome video. I can upload it to somewhere but I'm not sure what the rules are on this forum.

I've yet to find the third song, any suggestions? I'm not planning on dying anytime soon, being the music fan I am this just means alot to me.

Aymi - M (above and beyond mix)

hmmm.....

maybe u should check out what the lyrics mean first...

The last thing u want is to seem like a jackass in ur own funeral....

only one and one song only....at the end of the service.

jose amnesia - the eternal (sunrise mix)

i believe this was played at another ta's friend's service (some nyta if i remember correctly) which made me realize how suitable it would be. i've never been a dark person so i want people to walk out feeling at most melancholic but not depressed.

Please, tell us what the lyrics mean because I like this song too.

Lyrics: Ayumi Hamasaki
Composer: CREA
Arranger: HAL

"Maria" There is someone I should love;
every person who has ever been hurt...

As I look around,
everyone busily
hurries on by.

I noticed that this year, too,
the signs of winter have
come very soon.

Again, somewhere in this city today
two people will meet and fall in love;
the curtains are violently opened.

Even so, everything eventually,
someday, has an end.

Again, somewhere in this city today
two people split apart;
the curtains are quitely dropped.

"Maria" There is someone I should love.
At times I feel very lonely.
But my needs are all filled
by the person I should love.

"Maria" There is someone I should love.
At times I bear very deep wounds.
But my they are all healed
by the person I should love.

"Maria" Everyone is crying.
"Maria" But I want to believe.
"Maria" So I'm praying now
that this is my final love.
Beginnings come at random,
but endings always have a reason.
