I always back up my mp3's
I have just over 200 cd's of mp3's
about half of them are trance cd's
anyways it is always worth the time and effort.
I just recently had to format my hd so I lost everything.
I am in the process of reinstalling every program I had. Thank god I have a backup copy of Photoshop 6 or I would be trippin.
Anyways I am back for good now. I finally got my modem fixed so I can become a full time poster on TA again.

damn u guys have like 60-100 cds full of mp3s....i only have around 20 and it seems like a pretty big collection

mhmm... 22gigs, 20 of which i keep on my usb drive. consider it's painful to record them all onto cd-r's wid my 4x drive--that's about 39 cds and would take approximately 10 hours of non-stop burning.
besides, i change the names, tracklists, and other stuff all the time, and you can't do that on a recorded cd anyway, i am gonna get a bigger hard drive (like 60 or something gigs) and back up my stuff on there

i only back up the ones i know that are rare or difficult to find, or if they have a special place with me. hehe. then they're on a burned cd anyway as a CD track in my playa.
