They better keep the base line of the original "Destination" and that brilliant guitar in "Release".
They are to great to be rmxed, i deperately hope that the duties are fulfilled with these tunes, or they are in for a bumpy ride!!!!!
Dreamland 2005, yeah like that is really needed, the Original is just amazing and never needed anybody fucking with it.
Although i do admit to liking
Signum - First Strike 2004
LSG - Netherworld 2005 esp Oliver Prime/Joof Remix
We must be due another version of Energy 52 sometime this year.....

yeah all these remakes are pathetic.
Only proves how shit trance is these days. I hope some trance producers read this and stop this shit asap. Go make something original or dont make anything at all. And if you do make a remake once in a while make it decent so it adds something to the original

| Originally posted by sandstorm03 alright, ill give you that. But why not try to do something original, i know thats hard to ask these days. But if i were listning to a set, and the first thing i heard comming in was ATRC, you could bet that I wouldn't listen much more. You seem like a good producer, i enjoy spice fire, it has simularities to flaming june which i like. You should do something different. If you like ATRC enough to remix it, then fine, but don't do it just because its a popular track that everyone knows. |

| Originally posted by Mechgear i have done another 4 originals that im looking to getting signed at the moment, atrc remix is a lot more proggy and even a bit housey but still with a nice trancey element in the break, so its basically more my style, i wont confess to thinking its as good as avb's universal religion mix but it sits quit well in a more proggy set. on the point of remixing because its popular i quite agree you shouldnt remix something just because of its popularity, although if you like the track then that to me is a good enough reason to do it but of course you need to do something different with it than the original version which a lot producers dont seem to be doing with 200x mixes of tunes. They are more like a 200x updates than remixs which is a shame because id like to hear remixes which scream out the producers own style over the tunes i love! anyways thats my 2 pence worth |
i think it would be cool if someone would go back and make some crappy tracks good instead of concentrating on the classics.
netherworld 2005 is a nice tune anyway...
aphex twin - windowlicker (Kriece remix)
