Here�s what probably happened, the girl was caught off guard and was flattered you asked for her number so she gave it to you. Few days later when you rang her up she had second thoughts about going out with a complete stranger. I wouldn't hold your breath waiting for her to call you. If you're still interested stop by the store, although that could be weird. On second thought just move on.

i would wait until AFTER this weekend and then call her only one more time next week to see if she wants to hang out the following weekend. i only say this because A. you don't want to look desperate as if you have no plans this weekend, and also because B. there is a SLIGHT possibilty that she accidentally erased the voicemail and is kicking herself hoping you will call again...you never know.
