I had to pick Sasha. I was close to going with Kraftwerk, only because they were one of the pioneers of EDM altogether, but Sasha has been the most influencial to me.

Too bad that Xpander is almost exclusively Charlie May's effort. Try listening to Spooky - Little Bullet and try to spot the similarity.

I didn't find that out till later, but the first time I heard it was just amazing. It may not have been his work alone, but he's done plenty of other things to back up his credibility.

Very little of it has to do with productions though, which is why it is a bit ironic that he's gonna win this.

I'm not sure that I follow you on that. He's one of the greatest EDM producers ever, so how does his success have very little to do with production?

You're missing my point. He is far from as prolific, reknowned nor critically acclaimed for his productions as anyone else in this heat. And for the releases where he HAS gotten those things you can blame the likes of Tom Holkenborg and Charlie May.

Lieb has done some great productions but can't help thinking that they haven't really shaken or influenced the world of electronic music as a whole as much as the other two have. Out of the other two it was a close call... went for JMJ although looks like the poll is already decided so pointless going into reasons too much.

Despite being in the industry for ages its not like sasha has actually produced heaps of awesome tunes, only a few, and yes he is a good dj, but does this really mean he's the best 'artist'? I think not...
