nice atmosphere.
you got to improve your bassline man. it's not bassy and punchy nuff.
nice break.
cool fx.
the melody is great.
i think you should add more energy to the main part.
I mean when the break ended i was expecting a great bangin lead...

Posted by Blue Sky 99 on Mar-23-2005 18:50:

Very nice production, your best so far I think! I really like the atmosphere, the melody also sounds amazing! Can't wait to hear the full track!

Posted by Synchronix on Mar-23-2005 19:48:

Pete,

I think this is your finest work yet. I'm really feeling the melody. It has a current sound, while still maintaining a sense of originality. The only improvement I can suggest is further equilization, which I'm sure will come with time. I'll be interested to hear your later revisions. Nice job!

Posted by artemis on Mar-23-2005 22:39:

Wow

::Waiting patiently for the final::

Posted by jizza on Mar-24-2005 00:07:

man this is the shit that re-ignites my love for trance. very spiral'ish. love it.

Posted by Fundamental on Mar-24-2005 01:38:

Good stuff as usual Peter, although this time I feel the production is a lot more full and solid on the whole!

Maybe you could do with stronger overall percs though - the kick/clap stand out so clearly but the rest of the percs fade into the background. Actually, the open hi hats are fine.

Great sounding tune though, can't wait to hear a finished version.

Sweet Melody.

Needs more "oomph" for the bass and/or a sub-bass, and/or possibly a rapid/jumpy synth to go along with the bass, low strings/pads to add emotion, etc (just a suggestion).

I am digging the melody though,

would be nice listening to it while driving during summer with the car's sunroof off (or relaxing while having an ice cold one)

Keep up the good work.

gr8 track but i cant get in to it. you somehow need to make it more... emotional. i think its the break... when the beat kicks in there is the same melody as b4. make it a little more banging or a little more trancy with more feeling if you know what i mean. bass sounds fine to me... think how it would sound in a club .

Posted by Sunclyder on Mar-24-2005 13:19:

Very amazing track - nephew

Cool fx, kick is good, pads are shine.

I'm waiting for full

Best Rrgards Dude

hey man
i really love this track
best work yet
keep up the amazing work

Hey m8

Ok the first thing i notice is the absence of any low freqs on kick and bass, that's a pity. Kick is too flat this way. I agree that there's too much delay on the bass, you can hear it's too late when another chord starts (actually you hear the wrong note when it starts). Real Safranyos style. The almost random plucked synths and bells, they are cool to fill up a track but to me these are too "random". I can't get a grip on them! Pads and choirs are pretty neat. Pretty nice work overall. More fond of Cloudland tho :P

-Jay

very nice, this one has good synths and a great melody. And im sure you will fix that bass

im curious at the final version

grttzz

Posted by Takkra on Mar-24-2005 21:34:

just plain sweet.. I love it!
sounds a bit empty tho.. lack of deep sound??
..bass indeed.. pump it! pump it up! and go Weeee!

Posted by djdustx on Mar-24-2005 22:08:

Awesome track bro...very inspiring

i think its perfect to keep it the way it is

Seb.

Jeez, I thought I was the only person that had such problems! Pete's tunes are always packed with melodic elements, which is great! But sometimes I find the melodies to be very unpredictable - which I guess is both a good thing and a bad thing really...

thanks Joe, for the critics

anyway, look forward to the Peter Safranyos vs. Kallisto collab, so after we finish it, you can't blame me about the melodies, haha...

Generally well done. Seems like forced creativity sometimes...like you're just slapping synths in there in weird ways to try and get new sounds. They're great, but there's no sense of flow IMO.

Nice to listen to though.

Posted by Sirocco on Mar-31-2005 00:07:

awesome track again..it sounds a lot like robet nickson's spiral though.

maybe that sjust the popular feel nowadays

hey mate,

actually i didnt force the synths to get this result, never did it,
to be honest i worked on the melodies a lot, without force anything...

thanks for your opinion, though
