just picked this one up. half way through the first cd and so far i'm looooooooving it! its kinda making me sad that i missed markus during the conference last week, but oh well. this cd is kicking ass!
quite happy, cause my copy arrived today!! listened 2 it a few times now and totally felt in love with it, even theres no coldharbour sessions atmosphere and that one is more club style! however, its totally worth the money!
my fav mix compilation 2005 so far!
Love it! love it! love it!
It's exactly the kind of CD you would expect from Markus, it has his sound and vibe and although edm lately has been totally uninspiring for me, this CD totally turns it around. Thank you markus
Just bought the first part of the Miami Session on vinyl. Tunes by Ozgur Can and Sundawner are nice ones. Sadly B1 is a shitty tune, cant stand those Envio guitar-sounds anymore. But 2 of 3 are bombs and thats enough!!!!!
Picked it up expecting substandard prog, and was greeted with a REALLY solid 2 Disc compilation.
Nothing outstanding or gorund-breaking, but very consistent.
8 / 10 for yours truly
yan, will just wait till ur CD drops...cant wait son

Miami '05 ----Impressive!!!!
The first time I heard Miami '05 Disc 1, I was extremely impressed. To be honest, I didn't expect this incredible of an album from Schulz. When I popped in Disc 2, I was just blown away. This is probably as good as ASOT 2005... A couple of my favorite tracks from the album are are:
Free Yourself - Aronek
In The End - Ave Mea
I'm definately going to be getting these, as well as a few more tracks on vinyl as soon as possible.

I decided to take a listen to this album before sharing my thoughts, and they are exactly the same as before I listened to it.
I'm glad that you guys like it though.
i really need to get this cd...
Hot collecters item.. loving most of the markus stuffs!
definetly an awesome compilation!!!
fave tracks:
hammer & bennett - baltic sea
ozgur can - connected (santiago nino rmx)
max graham feat jessica jacobs - i know you're gone (of course)
markus mchulz - electro hairspray
any release dates for these (except ozgur)??
be well!
I enjoy both asot and gdjb, and i was really dissapointed in asot 2005 ... even moreso since i really like both cds of asot 2004. This cd on the other hand is pretty good. After a few listens i like it almost as much as coldhabour 2004. I agree, the mixing is a little sloppy in places, but unless you mix yourself, you probably won't even pick up on it. If he mixes this on vinyl/cd, then overall i am pretty impressed. If he does it on computer, then i think he should have spent another hour or two touching things up. Best bits for me are the transitions into Connected, and Attention Deficit.
Just picked it up , its o.k.
just got it, altogether very nice cd, the last 3 tracks of the first cd are the best.

Anyways, comparing it to ASOT 2005 is like... basically comparing a GDJB to an ASOT. However, to me the ASOT was better while the GDJB was a lame one. |
Wow, I'm impressed with Markus. Miami 05 is one of the few good mix cds I've heard in a while. The track selection and mixing is great. Both cds manage to keep my interest for the entire mix. Good work Markus. Keep it up.
