I only stood in line for about 30 min., had some dumass UM 'Cane pay me $20 to let him cut in line when other people were shoving their way in, bartenders were a bit slow but had already done alot of pre-drinking on the beach. It was a good party until the sound was turned down. As G & D are tearing it up way to kill the whole vibe by turning speakers down. But the planning was f'n terrible....fire marshall coming to stop enterance at like 4:00PM??? No formed line. And handpicking people at 4:00? Could have gone alot smoother. But I still had a good time.
i got there around 4pm or so. waited about 10-15 min. yes i Paid $20 bucks. but u know what i didn't have wait 3 hours. went in & hung til about 730 or so & left. first time there & i had fun. the place was incredibly packed. i will post pics l8r.
but WOW was that place packed. alot of nice looking women, but to many sausages...

Wow, I'm sorry to see everyone had such a shitty time. I knew this was gonna be insane so I got there around 11am. We were about 10th in line. (I actually took pics of the line cuz it was so long 
) Doors didn't open until noon. They were supposed to open at 11. Alot of people were pissed about that!
Since we got there so early we were able to get a bed. It turned out to be a joke because by 2pm people actually paid to kick us off the bed! They said they would spend double the amount of money we would. (long story so I'm not gonna really get into it).
So then we had no bed and had to get a spot around the fence. We chilled there for a couple hours and left around 5 because i had to get some sleep for space.
Nikki beach WAS NOT prepared for this. The food service was there but they were very understaffed and of course partially retarded. Bathrooms were a joke. I didn't even bother trying. I can't even imagine how bad it got after I left.
Some good things were, great weather, great music, great people (for the most part) and quite a few titties.
Next year I will make sure "NOT" to get a bed and just get a table with a bunch of people and split some bottles. (200 bucks for the cheapest one!)
The place just isn't big enough for a "free" party of that size.
All I got to say is the VIP area owned.... and that I'm in love with Juliet

3 hours is ridiculous. i heard the fire marshalls had something to do with that. wmc for me this year was the year of the lines. i learned my lesson from missed parties the night before that you had to get there early or else. after like 30 minutes, i got in. crowded and hot, but the vibe was great. the music was really good. for some reason around 6:30 the music suddenly cut out. was that the police's doing or just a technical prob? but i had fun
you guys shoulda jumped the fence like everyone else did......i watched thousands jump all day long. Great party minus them cutting out the beats so fucking early

Holy wicked neo and DDresden post!! Yea i got there WAY too late, got into town @ 11pm and my friends were like lets hit the nikki beach radio 1 party. I laughed and said good luck ima sleep for tom. Of course they dragged me along but i made them pay for the cab ride there and the quick cab ride back.
I did dload G&D's set from that day and OMG wish i was there. Guess ill have to just ride that shit out in the car for next few weeks to make up for it. DD if u see this, thanks again for the great music!

Heh, I saw that big, cluttered mess of a line and knew right away that it would be a bogus party, so I didn't even bother. Saved my energy for Sander @ Space, which had a ridiculous line anyways... but I got there early, and it was smooth sailing all night.
I think WMC really needs to be 2 weeks long, and promoters need to stop trying to squeeze all their best parties into thurs/fri/sat. One of the best times I had was Monday night at Space with Desyn Masiello (who fucking annhilated the place). No line, plenty of room to dance and breathe... it kicked ass.

I stood in line for like an hour and then at the entrance I pushed my way in! I didn't came from The Netherlands to Miami to wait in line the whole day! 
ill say this...
yes the line was a bitch, yes it sucked to pay some scumbag $20 to get into a "free" party, and yes it was completely fucking terrible that the volume of the music outside had to be turned down. however, once the inside opened up i danced with some of the most beautiful women i have ever seen in my life to some excellent fucking music and i had a great time. as a matter of fact, i had more fun at the nikki beach party than at any other during the week. why doesnt someone complain instead about club space not honoring their 5-day passes friday night rather than bash what really was a great party. honestly people, dig a little deeper than the surface.
We never made it in. Paid one of the gate people $100 and they said they would let 10 of us in. Well when we got to the side gate, the asshole only let two of us in....and the other guy that we paid ran off so there was nothing we could do but bribe the other guy with more money but by then, one of the managers came over and bitched out the dude for taking money. I heard a bunch of people got fired for taking money. So we left and went over to the TA dinner for even more drama.

We showed up around 4 pm and saw that ridiculous line. So we weren't going to wait in that, so we wandered around back, and some dude had the fence partially open, so we paid him 10 bucks per person and got in.
Also got a free bacardi cap. The party was good when we got in, and they were serving food. But then around 6:30 they turn the speakers off, so that stunk.
Just got Behrouz's set, and then when Masiello was about to go on, it got boring, so we left.
I forgot my battery to my camera, so I couldn't take pics, but for the guy that provided the link to pictures. That chick took off her top and was dancing on the table for a bit.... NICE!!!!
Overall, I was extremely disappointed with Nikki Beach. I'm never going there again. Their Mixology party was also packed, but the main speakers were off, and they were only playin music in a smaller dance room with one light and some cheesy reflector. The music was alright, but two visits to Nikki and two disappointing events...
WMC wasn't as fun this year as it was last year, although I did attend more events. I didn't think the music was all that great this year (does that mean the music comin out this year will stink?)...
To sum up the party... you can't have a party without music!
