Piet Bervoets from Rank 1 is great, his cigars are yummy

Ferry Corsten is cool as well. Perry ONeil is also superfriendly, always nice. Matt Darey is very cool while chatting, never met him for real.

Markus Schulz is also a very nice guy

I guess i will forget alot, but these come to mind when thinking about it.

Dude thats so true, very down to earth guy! Really nice guy imo! And markus too. I unfortunately cant say anything good about tiesto as he didnt give any autographs or anything when he was playing here. Seemed like a cold person.. But prolly there were just too many fans.

Steve Porter and Sean Cusick were great guys, really personable and some of the hardest partiers

Posted by DjArTiN! on Mar-30-2005 18:54:

Kyau vs. Albert - I met them last night and they signed their autographs on my Made of Sun and Not With You vinyls. I talked with them, they were really nice.

jakeC, if you think jules is a nice guy i think you must be talking about a different jules from a different planet. the guy is a complete tool.

I dunno what your talkin bout Jules is a real nice guy. He keeps in constant contact with his fans through emails. I saw him at Monster Massive and remembered our convos through mail and even generous enough to give me some tunes I wanted when I met him.

Very nice guy if u ask me and took some pics with me while I was with him.

Donald Glaude is a verrry nice guy he loves meeting with fans and signing autographs.

Dj 4 Strings is also a very nice guy and very open to talk to ppl when he's not djing.

Yoji is from Osaka, and his reputation around here is exactly as you describe it - arrogant dick.

bah. how's Satoshi Tomiie ?

JZ is the coolest. Met him at a showcase he did on NYE in syd. Easygoing and his gf is cool too. After his NYD field day gig here in syd he visited one of our dance music forums and posted a thank you note to say how much he enjoyed the party (after multiple posts from new fans saying how awesome his set was). He also posted links to the videos he took on the day. Seen him post on TA a few times too.

Always good to see dj's/producers take the time to post a lil msg. Takes 5 mins of their day but means a whole lot to the fans.

Posted by cybertranceJPK on Mar-31-2005 01:25:

People are kinda ambivalent to Satoshi Tomiie. He is more of an international DJ now than anything else (I think he lives in New York)... he gets a full page diary column at the back of Loud magazine, so he is still important, but I dont know anyone who knows him well enough to get a feel.

Another DJ that is incredibly nice, and I think will do great things is a hard trance/hard house DJ from Japan named Energy-Dai. He is ranked one spot below Tomiie on Loud magazines Japanese rankings (9th place) but I think he will go higher. He did a track with Mike Koglin 2 years ago, and apparently they are going back into the studio together again soon. Also going to be playing at Dance Valley. Supernice guy... I really cant say enough nice things about him.

Id also like to weigh in that Ferry Corsten is probably one of the nicest people on the planet, let alone EDM.

Posted by Omega_Blue on Mar-31-2005 01:42:

i've only met ferry, he was extremely nice. the only dj i've seen that actually sat there before and after the set and signed everyone's autographs, handshakes, conversations etc. armin seems like a nice guy, always smiling.

on the other hand, oakenfold.. screwed all of us out of about an hours worth of time in milwaukee last year. he was supposed to play until 12:00 and ended up abruptly walking off stage around 11:00ish. meh.

i've also heard that frankie bones is a complete jackass from some ex-dj record store owner that i met. i wouldn't know though.
