Pages (2): « 1 [2]
Good call on the Live - Throwing Copper album. I saw them at an outdoor concert in Sommerset Wisconsin during that tour. Selling the Drama and I Alone also excellent besides lightning crashes.
You guys mentioned alot of the greats... Nirvana, Soundgarden, Pearl Jam etc.
but you forgot the best one of all!!!!!
Alice In Chains!
hell yes..i still have Nirvana - Nevermind on tape along with some tape singles of Smashing Pumpkins...also, was Oasis mentioned? that was one hell of a group..Wonderwall comes to mind..
Listened to alot of Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Rage Against The Machine, Smashing Pumpkins and a bunch of other bands but didn't wear the clothes so not much has changed since then.
I adore flannel shirts.
But other than that, I don't think I'm grunge at all
I was small back then and I used to just run around my house for hours to Lithium. Good times lol.
i still have my converse runners, and combats. as well as a few sweater vests in really puky pastel 70's colors. all my ripped jeans dont fit anymore tho
o yeah I was into this stuff in middle school, but not hardcore flannel wearing everyday kinda guy
I mainly listened to Alternative/grunge like Rage,RHCP,Nirvana,Pearl Jam( that Jeremy video lol),STP,offspring(SMASH is one of the best CD's ever) bla bla basicly everything played on MTV or on the radio in those days.
Now I only listen to Rage ,old offspring and Metallica in terms of rock/metal. Although theres sill some Nirvana tracks that pump me up like "Drain You"
My favourite music video is still "Pearl Jam - Do The Evolution" off their "Yield" album. It was drawn by Todd McFarlane of 'Spawn' fame. Loved the animation it was simply great and suited the lyrics.
