Yeah, that's my plan, but I wouldn't mind seeing Tiesto. Bloody Radio 1 have to screw things up don't they. I just hope he doesn't clash with someone decent in the GK tent.

When will we find out who is on when and where? Do they tell us before hand on the website or will we have to buy a programme??

Posted by Soonmeister on Jul-05-2005 12:19:

im only going on the saturday mate, most of my favs are on saturday....... i wouldnt mind seeing the friday talent but i have limited funds to blame for that i remember its only the beach arena is open air with no shelter all the other tents ( GK, Poly, Carl Cox etc ) are all sheltered even if it rains wer still dry....... but we want hot weather coz it brings the warm fuzzy festival spirt

Here's a question for GG regulars, is there such things as lockers or anything available to put bags and stuff away for a while?

Be interesting know, but I doubt it. Certainly there's not on Creamfields, and thats similar in a lot of ways I believe.

Posted by Soonmeister on Jul-06-2005 13:39:

yes ther is..last year they had a coat hanging service.... it was like a little shelter where you could store all your bags and coats..... for a price

They gave you a studpid little pink ticket with 3 numbers on to confirm when its yours when you get back

This was located right near the entrance..

They had police hanging around that area alot so i felt my bags wer safe..

Is there a lot of old bill there then? Usually that gets people uptight and annoyed!

My lucky bastard of a friend, total newb when it comes to EDM, is coincidentally in London during GG weekend so he's going. If you see an awestruck tall Indian kid dancing around madly answering to Robin, that's him.

Kris, very jealous and hoping she'll make it over the pond someday

anyone knows when the timetable will be announced?

Posted by matty_dyson on Jul-25-2005 13:07:

Tiesto is ment to be playing 20.30pm - 11.00pm on the radio1 beach. and i know Dyk'y this playing at 1.00pm - 3.00.

anyone else know of any?

Posted by Martyn on Jul-25-2005 13:13:

I thought that Tiesto was 7-9 because Radio 1's schedule says that 7-9 is live with Tiesto.

http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio1/events/globalgathering.shtml

Unless Judge Jules is 7-8.30, and they're only gonna have half an hour of Tiesto live on the radio.

Why the hell can't Tiesto just be on the GK stage, that would make life so much easier.

Is sombody recording the show from cabel radio..streaming is 40kb

I heard that Tiesto will be on from 8.30 to 11.00. Guess we'll only know for sure on the day.

We want the GK timetable!

Posted by matty_dyson on Jul-27-2005 11:57:

there must be a way of finding it all out or as good as all!

GG line up

Hi all...

So, the dj set times are being announced on Friday nite. As far as I know, the only way to find this out is to buy the programme. These are available from the merchandising stand and are the tags you see people wearing round their necks (they're not vips!). Its a little booklet that has each of the tents listed and costs about 5 squids.

So the weather looks shite and I've just emailed and apparently rain gear will be on sale (though hugely expensive i'd guess). Also, chicks, there's a cool website: www.funky-wellington-boots.co.uk/ and they deliver in 1-2 days.

See you all in the rain!

Yep, there's a cloakroom apparently (just emailed them)

Hahaha, so true!

Posted by Sier on Jul-27-2005 16:01:

So true about tiesto, heh.

Looks like they're going to pull our pants down over pricing i see!

Also, ordered a tranceaddict top for the event, which was meant to be dispatched 7 days ago, hope it gets here on time!

So if you see a 6'4" bloke walking round in a TA top then say hi

Just checked the Met Office website and it's supposed to be dry during the day but raining at night

But isn't the GK stage indoors?

Posted by Sier on Jul-27-2005 17:06:

Yeah, the only stage that's outdoors (as far as i know) is the Radio 1 Beach Stage and i'll only be going there for Tiesto

Posted by DJ Twenty on Jul-27-2005 17:50:

I'm going! Can't wait to see my main main Yoji!
Aint managed to catch him live yet!

If you see a madhead dancing with shades on then that will probably be me

Posted by zag2me on Jul-30-2005 09:38:
