there wont be any tables reserved for us. We are just meeting there at the bar getting some pre-game drinks then heading out to vision. i didnt feel like reserving a table and then getting shafted with the bill. As of right now i emailed both armin and his manager and got no responses back. i'll keep you guys up to date if i hear anything from them. Like i said i'l be the idiot with the name tag on.

Seriously though, I am excted to meet some more TA's... after how well Addiction went and all the new friends I made, I'm thorooughly convinced that the TA's AREN'T the jaded assholes that the Music Discussion Forum makes them appear

anyone know how strict they are with IDs @ vision??

I have a bad fake that works without fail here in madison, but i'm worried about trying it in Chicago. I actually got called out on it by a bouncer the other night but finally he thought it was me and felt bad and let me in.

I don't know for sure man, the first time I went there I thought they paid absolutely no attention to ID's, they were definitely letting everyone in, but then at G & D I distinctly remember this girl not getting let in because her ID was epired by somethign absurd like a day...

If it works in Madison without fail, I'd say you're golden, because in general when i was using my fake, Madison was one of the harder cities to get by in...

i'd say it's hit or miss with the ID, sometimes they're bastards sometimes they're not...

Wow, other cities must really not give a shit then I used to get in with ridiculous IDs, I assumed Madison was notorious for letting in fakes.

excellent fake, yes. good fake, maybe. bad fake, no.

but even if you have a really good fake they still might catch it, especially if you're going in thru the Excalibur door with the bright lights out front (which is where they have the presale ticket line go thru). trust me, i've been there before.

and as far as i've seen, they always check everyone's ID no matter what entrance you go in.

All the presales Ive done, Ive been through the vision door to the right of of excalibur...

maybe they change it up for different events? i dunno, i had presales for Sasha last year in March and the line was going thru the Excalibur door. and every other time i went there with people who had presales the line was always going thru Excalibur.

maybe they switch it randomly to mess with peoples minds.

Every time I've had presales I've gone in through Excalibur.

for the "special" shows in which a lot of presales are purchased (armin, pvd, sasha etc.) the presale line is through excalibur - otherwise for the smaller shows presales are at vision door.

Hmmm... Ferry and G&D were Vision door...

Damn, maybe we just got there late and that's where it aws, but I just remembered to head back to Vision after what happened at Ferry... Maybe early it was through excalibur...

yep. that one has the Vision sign above it. and the Excalibur entrance is the one near the corner where you walk up the steps.

that alley was ridiculous when i was there for Marco V. it was pouring balls and the entire alley was flooded, like at least 6-7" of rain just chillin' there. my friend ran in ahead of me and didn't see the huge puddle and splashed water all over me.

LOL! You know just how I felt on a miserable (Weather Wise) New Years Day for Ferry C... That was easily the worst weather I have ever driven through to see a show, and well worth it...

not many people buy pre-sales for these dj's. the have the pre-sale line at excalibur in order to expedite the lines - it's a lot faster if the pre-sales line is at excalibur and the people who have to purchase tickets is at the vision door/alley.

hi. n00bie here. some friends of mine and i are travelling up from st. louis to see armin for the very first time. we would love to meet up w/ you all at the pre-event. we are really looking fwd to seeing armin at vision. i hear the club is nothing like what we are used to in st. louis!!!! i cant wait! please keep an eye out for the newbies............
