-- Upcoming M.I.K.E Compilation...Send in your tracks
Pages (2): « 1 [2]
@vedubya: Don't take this too serious.
As a producer, M.I.K.E. (www.mike.be) is like Tisto as DJ. Well at least in case of importance to trance music.

I'll send one of my tracks too. Don't not send your Tracks because you don't like them in comparison to M.I.K.E.'s or someone other's style.
Your Tracks represent you. And there's always the chance that someone else like it even if you don't do by yourself.
Furthermore, what have you got to lose?
You don't think Mike will lookup your telephone number, call you and then laugh at you, do you?

can you email tracks rather than post?
our postal service here isnt exactly the most reliable at times
yeh this is stupid to send cdrs by snail-mail...
yea i would like to send him some of my unheard stuffs, but through e-mail/ftp... anyone?
I think it is very clearly described on the M.I.K.E. homepage.
"(...)please use the following address:
Armada Music BV
t.a.v. M.I.K.E.
PO Box 75247
1070 AE Amsterdam
The Netherlands."
I also think Mike has no need to download tracks from e-mails or ftps. There will be enough (semi-)proffessionals who send in CD-Copies.
Moreover, where is the problem in sending CDs by snail mail? Usually everything gets to the address where it should.
the problem starts when you dont a have a cdr burner...
Well, if you don't have a cd-burner and are a producer, that really is a big problem. How do you get your productions to the club, radio or just friends' stereos??
armada are notorious for generally only accepting cds and not any form of digital transfer. kinda annoying and archaic if u ask me but hey its their choice. i would send something of mine but dont have time in the next couple of days to get anything sent.

I hope you guys sent your tracks in
good luck to everyone on gettin on the compilation. It would have been smart to send it either certified mail or request delivery confirmation. This way you do have the assurance that it arrived. I didnt know the dealine was so soon I wish I checked his site and found this earlier and posted it.
