Read "Angels and Demons" before the "Davinci Code", so I came with high expectations, since the hype was so great.
I loved Angels and Demons. Davinci Code was.... ok. Angels and Demons was definitely much better, in terms of suspence.
I also read "deception point" - that was complete and utter crap! Stay away.
The only hting I can say about Dan Brown's books is they are very-movie-screen-oriented. Much like Crichton - all are PG13 with sometimes predictable scenes and everything falling into place.
The ending of "Angels and Demons" was really goofy, especially the chopper part (u'll get it when u read it). Otherwise - great read.
BTW, all u who are following the Vatican Conclave should grab that book now, as it deals very closely with the the selection of pope and other crap. Seriously, a very timely read.

| There was a heathen named Flegetanis who was highly renowned for his acquirements. This same physicus was descended from Solomon, begotten of Isrealitish kin all the way down from ancient times...He wrote of the marvels of the Grail. Flegetanis, who worshipped a calf as though it were his god, was a heathen by his father....With his own eyes the heathen Flegetanis saw - and he spoke of it reverentially - hidden secrets in the constellations. He declared there was a thing called the Grail, whose name he read in the stars without more ad[?].
