I had a cat with a similar habit with all the cables on my studio floor. Dettol is definitely the best catshit cleaner around. Give it a good hard wipe on the outside, Take the non-electronic pieces and soak them in a bucket of soapy water. Then use cotton buds to clean the fiddly bits. Just make sure you're masking your nose, coz when you agitate old catshit, you're guaranteed to be cleaning up vomit as well.
