i originally planned to be away from my comp all day, henceforth ask tae...but since i just came from tribeca and found out that the whole barrage of films dont start until thursday, you could forget everything i said beforehand since there isnt jack to go to tonight (only thing showing tonight is The Interpretor and it's invite only)...

so no rachel, i didnt forget it, ho ho ho, i was just being my usual thorough self...


there are a shitload of good films i wanna see though (here and at the BUFF), so please, i invite everyone to join me this week in an orgy of film indulgence..

i probably won't be going to any of the film festivals... i've got a really tight week/end ahead of me.

Anyone else a fan of Akira Kurosawa? Lately i have been watching all his films they are very good.....

i saw Ran, Rhapsody in August, and Red Beard....roshomon and 7th samurai are next on my list...

saw roshomon last night... interesting... I don't know much about film and technique, so I can't comment on all those artsy aspects but I did enjoy it... supposedly the first movie of its kind, right? told from different points of view? the acting was creepy... that was cool

I also saw Triumph of the Will last night... what a mix
