i have heard that too.

acid is a very harsh drug. not something you want to do too many times. I'm glad i tried it a few times, dont really want to do it again unless it falls in my lap for some reason. i'm not going to go out and search for it.

as long as you are in a very friendly, relaxed, and safe environment with good friends, and possibly a sober person (to babysit and keep you grounded), it can be a very enlightening experience. as with many other drugs, acid allows you to tap into a level of your subconscious that you never realized was there before.

having the right music, and stuff to look at helps to make the experience that much better.

well, id say giver a couple of goes, fuck it.

With shrooms, you don't get any flashbacks and it leaves your system faster. Just saying, shrooms are better.

Everyone is different, I have never had a flashback, and I'd think at over 700 trips in my lifetime that I'd be well due.

I find an intense shroom trip to be more likely to go sdieways that lsd personally.

As for tryptophan/5htp, it will indeed smooth off the edge from hallucinagenics

I guess that is excessive, but it was more like binges of 4-6 over weekends.

My personality has indeed changed, but for the better as far as I am concerned. I am more akin to thinking about things in different ways than I was when I was younger, and I think my slanted sense of humour is also a result

As for the second part... nope, no more than anyone else.
I remember things that are memorable (going on holiday when i was 6 and my dad catching a fish in the river and me being all scared of it, or having a mud-bomb war with my mates back in primary school) and things that arent obviously get stored deep within, allowing more room for the important memories to stay near the surface
