After seeing that video, I might have to give up Fruity, and start using that. After hearing the DIMENSION VST, that caught my attention right away. Barely any latency
thats a plus.
I'll have to try out the demo before I give up fruity though.

I'm using Fruity too, and I'd definitely change to this when possible
wow... I want it
Guys, just an update.
I wouldnt have believed it but the newest update patch makes this app even more outstanding! To say they've tweaked it a bit to make it easier on the CPU is a gross understatement!
Dimension synth now runs up to 20% leaner!! On my songs that had about 17 tracks with 5 frozen I was running close to 85-90% CPU...now after the 2.01 patch I can unfreeze almost all of them (except for 2 z3ta+ tracks!) and run at about 85% CPU!!! Its really quite a feat!
They've also added BOUNCE TO TRACK and better options for the Editor/Sequencer!
Just look at these fixes! And its only been out a few weeks!!
Arrange pane
* Sticky Now Time (restart Now Time from previous start position)
* Display automation values in tool tips while editing
* Vertical clip zoom
* Bounce to track
Editor
* Display automation values in tool tips while editing
* Add Channel Aftertouch automation menu's MIDI parameter list
* Metronome count-in for Editor
Dimension
* Support for AIF/AIFF files
* Reduced CPU load (programs require 2~20% less CPU)
* Enhanced memory sharing scheme for multiple instances
* Instant browser population for fast browser loading
* Progress meter for loading Dimension programs
Other
* Option to have MIDI routing override follow current track
* Graphical optimizations and enhancements to the Pattern Editor
* Faster project loading and initialization dialogs
* Various performance enhancements
Nice...I will be getting it soon..but I am in love with Live right now. I was chatting on MSN with my buddy from Puerto Rico and we were having an audio conversation. I fired up Live and started recording him on the fly and adding effects to his recordings and he almost pissed himself, because as soon as he said something, a second later he would hear himself recorded but his voice all twisted. That is what I love Live...ANYTHING you record, you can press stop and play it immediately without rewinding it. I mean, less than a second later, you can replay back the stuff and add effects on the fly. That was while I was talking with him, just like if we were over the phone, and I was also playing a rhythm, recording it and then adding a z3ta+ demo melody over it. It was crazy...I don't think the other sequencers can do that instantaneously recording and playing with the recordings. It was an experience...I was very impressed. He heard me clearly and he has dial-up and I have a slow DSL but he could still hear what I was playing in Live and mangling with effects, LOL.
@ Digital Aura, yes the new update is excellent
i just cant wait to get the time to get more into this software, so far iv had a quick play but nowhere near enough as id like to.
@ Rico, you will be looking forward to Live 5 then???
@ Rico -- dude...Live is definitely awesome! They work together! P5 can be a ReWire HOST or Client!! No need to decide which one is best! HAVE IT ALL!!! LOL
