WITH THIS
Yes they should.

How can u say "yes they should" but then say people who listen to Tiesto are morons?,,,,If they are listening to what they like how can u slag them?

Yeah, I'm slagging people for liking Tiesto.

Where's the contradiction?

Because u said people SHOULD NOT be slagged for listening to what they like...u said so in the first post u made....thats a contradiction in any language.

No, I was saying that "yes, they should be slagged over what they listen to".

Totally agree with the first post. It's not like someones gonna think "They're right, I've been listening to total crap" and start listening to whatever the flamer thinks is cool.

Posted by Tranc3 on Apr-22-2005 21:56:

I predict a few more pages of pseudo-intelligent posts talking about society's behaviors on the marco and microscopic levels, followed by a flame war on one of the following:

1) Tiesto
2) Armin Van Buuren
3) Good old-fashioned character bashing

I guess what I'm trying to say is...

Who gives a fuck? Stop taking the intarnet so seriously. If you enjoy dressing up like Britney Spears and dancing with a cardboard cutout of Justin Timberlake, then hell, I'm not gonna stop you, in fact I'll probably laugh at you, but I won't try to stop you.

Can you not tell?

Posted by Zombie0915 on Apr-23-2005 00:53:

alright, play DJ Tiesto - Honey side by side with DJ Sammy - Heaven

and see if you can not tell the point he is getting at.

the thing about these types of arguments, is that both sides put up blinders to their opponent's debate, both ideas are valid, its not a black and white one versus the other type of thing though. But that fucking honey song, one could almost call it worse than sammy, it has maybe like 3 notes over and over in an obvious stupid melody with those retarded lyrics

"if you said
that I mean the wooooorld to youuuuuuuuuuu
would you tryyyyyy to call me honeeeyyyy"

sure, alot of trance is different from your pop radio variety(but can you name any?)

but there is also alot of really big famous trance that is very similar to popshit.

let me continue the trend, then..

Underground Evolution - Walk On Water

Posted by Blue. on Apr-23-2005 02:31:

People don't get made fun of just for saying they like DJ Sami. I've seen regulars admit they like a track or two that's considered cheese with little to no comments made about it. The people who get made fun of are the ones who are way off base ie. "DJ Sami and Lasgo are techno" and the people who know their shit or just have something to prove tear into these false statements.

Not only that but people usualy get into pissing contests on who knows what about music and they feel that if you don't know as much as them then you know nothing.

tiesto didnt make that song
you're probably referring to the chicane mix of billie ray martin's 'honey' in tiesto's search of sunrise 1

which is not a bad song by the way

Posted by Cobalt on Apr-23-2005 04:37:

While it doesn't rival Heaven, I always thought Honey was a piece of cheddar.
