I was at Ferry and sticks were allowed, Aria just doesn't sell them. From what I've been used to, stix and lights allowed on Fridays but don't bring a whole lot of them more than 2 pairs coz they take them from you at the door and will only let you in with a pair. They had problems with people selling inside for outragous prices.

instead of banning glowsticks, i think they should just enforce some type of dresscode/age limit at the door. hence, filtering out the 16yr old candy ravers everyone seem to hate. glowsticks/E are really a part of the whole scene... i accepted that long time ago.

Why are you all so dead against the younger raving crowd? Aren't are all just there to enjoy the music?

I disagree with the policy in general as I see no harm in people trippping on glowsticks or anything else for that matter. When I'm there, I'm listening to the music and dancing, and so I'm in my own Universe. I really don't care what others are doing, as long as they don't bother me. And if you're going to use that line of defence for banning glowsticks, you can use it against anything really, as many different things bother different people. As for preventive measures, what is this, an application of US foreign policy to night life? Let the candies have their fun. Seriously, who cares.

mmm well Aria is good put sometimes it's true the crowd is a bit to candy glow stick pple. I don't mind in raves it s cool(I have my own trip somethimes). But this one time I was @ Stereo and this chick was the ONLY one with a glow stick dancing(and for those who know stereo..it's pretty small like u won't miss the glowing thing) ,well 2 securities came and told her she isn't allowed to have some. And especially @ Stereo the crowd is different...older crowd(yes indeed gays) and more let's say a bit more "underground"with nice sexy dark progressive house music!
