you won't be able to lock streamripper on this stream

you better play the stream as usual using the ckoi's flash interface, then load soundforge or any sound ripper and lock it on your sound card output.
be careful, all sounds generated by your computer will be recorded as well.

if you wanna record it, why dont you just play 96.9 on your actual radio,then plug in an output from your radio/stereo (try the headphone jack) and plug it into your input on your PC, and record it thru Soundforge or whatever? That should be the best way

But note that it will be radio quality.

exactly. But FM quality is pretty much the same as a 128bit MP3....so no big loss

only you don't have the lows and "high" highs..
FM band goes from 300hz to 15Khz if I remember
