Yoji is a MANIAC!!!!!
I've been hooked on the Yoji-caine since Sensation Black 2004. He's toned it down a little since then though.
Yoji Biomehanika - Banging Globe (DJ Scot Project remix) and Yoji Biohamenika - Never End (Reeloop remix) rocks.
Crazy Japanese hard stuff whatever. So much fun.
It doesn't necessarily sound Japanese. It is more European.
And did I mention it kicks so much ass!!!!
yoji is my hero. has been for many many years now!

I love Yoji's song Samurai (Keyboard Cowboys), it's got dialogue from the movie Hackers.
Good movie...Know any good spots (hear...free) where I can get a listen to his stuff?
PM

Yoji is nothing anymore... a caricature of what he used to be.
Seriously though, there used to be huge parties in Japan with people all decked out in cyberdog with their hair braided (they were called mehanikas) that would fill out 2000 person concert halls for his sets... now that stuff is all on the decline for him.
Personally, I like him... but there is an insanely more talented Japanese DJ playing in the same vain called Energy-Dai. He has only produced two tracks, and doesnt have a visual gimmick like Yoji, but Dai has superior mixing skills, superior track selection, and superior vibe at all his parties.
He plays everything from Hard Trance to Hard House to Techno on 3 turntables with constant effects going. What is sick about it is how it seems he is never mixing... he spends more time dancing that mixing and his mixes are still insanely tight.
Yoji -1.

I wasn't judging the guy as a person....just his whole act.

Didn't think about that. Probably.
Oy Vey!
Gouryella - Ligaya (Yoji Biomehanika Remix).... the way that he melted his style with Tiesto and Ferry's riff and elements... just blows my mind. the song is a sexy driven overload... his breakdown is is is ... well ... really dope.
i like that song. as well as "banginglobe". ferry's remix is quality, but doesnt have the passion/essence of the original. and the "never end" mixes are pretty good, but they are tracks that listening to them once for me was good enough.
production quality is a real issue with him sometimes.
but its good to have a Yoji in the world.
much appreciated.
