We're hoping for Benayoun at bolton, i'd love to see him here, but it's dependant on us having money to spend

Ah, I doubt if he'll go to the Preimership, pretty sure a bigger club in Spain will buy him at the end.

btw Blessing Kaku will probably move to M. Tel Aviv next year, read in the newspaper today that they try to sign him asap...

bah, offtopic - Bolton is a great team (woo Jay Jay Okocha)

I'm hoping Ben Haim can persuade him to come over. Kaku i think will happen for you, he's not quite made it here, lots of competition for him & he's slipped a way behind

Barca haven't signed Gallas or Ballack. That's pure speculation at the moment. Gallas isn't going anywhere as Chelsea regard him and Terry as their first choice CB. I don't see Ballack being transfered for anything less then 20 million, and even if that happens, i'm sure more then a few teams will bid for his services.

Also, whoever suggested ManU will trade RVN for Raul needs to lay off the crack. Rauls had an abysmal season and there's no way that Fergie would let his ace striker leave OT in exchange for Raul who's untested in the premiership.

Gallas is leaving because they wont play him at centre back, his favourite position. if he is their first choice defender behind teryy why isnt he getting his game ahead of carrvaliho?

Ballack has a year left on his contract and doesnt want to extend it, so he will be gone fairly cheaply. RVN probaly wont be exchanged for raul, however i think he will leave. Fergie has given the go ahead to offer him to clubs. I dont know hwy, but i am guessing its because they need the money for transfers

No matter how many / $ / / they'ld receive, selling Ruud is the stupiest thing any team could do.

Posted by The_G0dfather on May-11-2005 22:55:

Johann Vogel from PSV is more than likely to go to Lazio, he's definately moving after this season.

Posted by Ian on May-12-2005 05:53:

PSV this year remind me of Dynamo Kiev with Shevchenko & Rebrov, so many good players, who just miss out on doing something special, before all move on. Sad really, esp for psv fans

Posted by Yohan on May-12-2005 06:20:

^Last year too.

Same with AS Monaco. It's like they're farm teams for big players before they move onto teams with more cash.

Posted by InterMilan31 on May-12-2005 06:40:

Pretty much everyone from Roma is getting linked with a move out if they get relegated. With I belive 3 matches left they are 4 pts from the relegation zone and are getting worse and worse in their form. Totti, Cassano, Chivu, Mexes, De Rossi all could be leaving the Eternal City if they get relegated get ready for this cuz it will be crazy........

Gilardino I think will choose Milan over Chelsea. I think Gilardino and Bonera from Parma are already Milan's.

Milan will probably get rid of either Inzaghi or Thomason with Inzaghi in the lead as his injuries are driving the board/coaches insane! Also expect Milan to continue their Brazilian league raid and add a couple of young brazilians.

Juve will probably get rid of last summer signing flop Kapo. Dont expect them to sign a big name. I could see them getting into the Ballack sweepstakes but I think they will go to Italy to buy players. Esposito from Cagliari and Taddei from Siena are on the top of the list(Inter & AC want them too)

Depending on which team finishes fourth in Serie A(sampdoria/udinese) expect them both to buy some quality players. Vogel from PSV has been linked with both and so has Recoba from Inter, Edu from Arsenal, Moretti & Aimar from Valencia.

Gallas is a versitle defender who can play in central defence as well as wing back. With Babayaro leaving for Newcastle and Wayne Bridge out for the season (along with Paulo Ferrera the DR), Gallas was forced to play as Left back. Chelsea ARE definately buying a top class LB in the summer, once that happens Gallas will return to partner Terry in the middle.

Posted by InterMilan31 on May-12-2005 19:35:

The only way I could see Gallas leave is if they tell him he has to play left back whether he likes it or not.

Isnt Chelski looking at Dede from Dortmund for LB

Posted by InterMilan31 on May-12-2005 21:41:

First big transfer of the summer:

Porto have agreed to sell international midfielders Maniche and Costinha to Russian club Dynamo Moscow, the Portuguese champions said on Thursday. Porto will receive 16 million euros for Maniche and four million for Costinha.

I thought for sure you would see either player at a big club next season. Them Russian teams with that Oil money

Posted by fastmp3 on May-12-2005 21:42:

holy shit the russkis have all this money ???????

Posted by InterMilan31 on May-12-2005 21:48:

They've got alot of talent up there now.

Cavanaghi and Vagner Love are up there too damn!

Shaktar in Ukraine have a good team too I they got some good africans including Agahowa from Nigeria

General
RVN might be leaving united, few rumours of him oing to madrid with a possible exchange for raul. Nothing definite. Robinho has gone to madrid. Joaquin is looking likely to move to chelsea. Reyes is staying with arsenal

Any one else have any?

Now i want ones people are confident of happening, i dont want any bullshit links from tabloids(especially the s*n)

Where do u get ur info? (site)

Posted by The_G0dfather on May-14-2005 12:32:

There has been contact between Barcelona and La Louvire in Belgium for their and the belgian national goalkeeper Silvio Proto.
He is a huge talent, wouldnt at all mind him going to Barcelona.
You know how hard it is for a keeper to get into a positive spotlight so for a young guy like him allready being linked to barcelona just proves his class.

Barcelona have been following him all season and have scouted him a few games too. May 12 his manager was in Barcelona to talk about the transfer. Bara wants to buy him and let him play with a a smaller spanish club (in the first league) for one or two seasons.

No he wont. CM bought carrvaliho for 20 odd million, when you add the porto factor into it he will not stick him on the bench in place of gallas.

Chelseas first choice back four is

ferria - carrvaliho - terry - bridge

Gallas wont make it into that team, not at CB anyway. He has even come out and said he wont play out of position and will consider a move.

I get the info off people i know, not excactly sure where they get it from but its usually accurate.

Ever heard of competition for places ? The idea behind having 2 world class players for every position (which is what the Chelsea squad is based on) is so that players train hard to compete for places. The chelsea back four is not set in stone. Yes, Carrvaliho was bought for a heft price (but that's only because he was sold to Chelsea - he's not actually worth that much).

Gallas will stay at Chelsea because next year he will be in the CB position with Terry. Carravalho will also be there, rotated into the squad as Chelsea will be competeting at all levels. Gallas has stated he will not play LB forever, but he's still done a good job at that position this season. Jose will keep him because he realizes just how versitile Gallas is.

Gallas isn't leaving Chelsea anytime soon, and next season he'll be playing alongside Terry in the heart of the defense backfour.

Oh...and your football sources suck !

personally i think Carvalho is better than Gallas, at centre back that is.From the Chelsea games i watched this season Carvalho played like a don and made one fantastic tackle after another. When hes in top form theres no passing this guy. However, not to many defenders have the ability to play as good in all positions like Gallas does and therefore, as Kytracid said - chelsea will do everything to ensure he stays.

Back to topic .... newcastle have been heavily linked with Owen of late. Itl be interesting to see if he wants to play for an Inter Toto cup team though although I expect the geordies to be a helluva lot better next season with Souness at the helm.

Ferdinand to madrid sounds like pure B.S . Rio owes it to united to stay after the faith we showed in him by sticking to him during his missed drugs test unlike chelsea who not only kiked mutu out but tried to press claim charges against him as well.

Now that the relegation battle has been decided there a lot of good players in all three sides that went down that should generate interst from the bigger clubs namely the likes of Crouch, Quashie and Niemi from S'hampton , Johnson and Routledge from Palace and finally Ashton, Francis, Green and Huckerby fron Norwich. Ashton in particular seems like a star in the making and im sure a big club like newcastle, liverpool or Assanal gonna sign him.

Can't say I agree with you there. Carvalho's certainly not a bad defender, but he does seem to lunge into tackles and has been lucky on more then one occasion to get away with some of his mistimed tackles in the box. No doubt he has class, but i think he's still adjusting to the pace and physical demand of the EPL. In a season or two i might say he's the first choice CB...but as of next season, i'm almost sure you'll find him rotating that position with Gallas.

Please tell me you don't actually believe Souness is going to turn things around ? I dunno man...he doesn't seem like a coach who inspires confidence. The combative Scot seems to be more of a headcase then a coach. I doubt Owen will move to a team that's been slipping for the last few seasons, and i doubt Shearer will have much of an impact next year. Overall...I think Newcastle will find themselves at the wrong end of the table. Yet again.

I agree. But then again, Rio comes across as a mercenary, not a loyal football player. Look at his track record. He's basically jumped ship at almost every chance he has got to up his pay. First from West Ham to Leeds. Then Leeds to Man U. The guys a greedy little ****, and although he's got a wealth of talent, the last few games have shown he's still immature when it comes to claiming the title of one of the best defenders in the world. I think Rio will stay a Red...but only after he's signed to make even more money per week, and that quite honestly just reeks coming from a man who should be doing everything to repay the club that showed support for him.

Niemi to Aresnal or Man U
Johnson to Pool
Ashton to Charlton or some other mid tier team...
Routledge to Tottenham

Now that summers almost upon us, big teams will start their poaching season.

it's so obvious that you don't know what the fuck your talking about, and yet you keep repeating the same thing.

the jokes on you buddy!
so quit talkin' shit.
Mourinho won the CL with Carvalho, and trusts/respects him like he does few others. in fact, if it wasn't for Carvalho and his awesome wotk at Porto over the last few years, Mourinho probably wouldn't be where he is today.

so he's not going to all of a sudden drop Ricardo to the bench in favour of Gallas who admitidly is a very solid and reliable player whose proven his versitlity. Gallas is a very solid player, but he's a notch below Carvalho when it comes to the CB position.

of course with all the games they play in a season, both Huth and Gallas would get time in the CB position to give Tery/Carvalho a break, but they wouldn't be cosidered the "starters".
now whether Gallas believes that getting more playing time is such an issue that he wants to switch clubs over it is a very personal decision for him.
