composer is Hans Zimmer, he's been doing scores for roughly 25 years, he's also done The Thin Red Line soundtrack, The Rock, The Ring I+II, among others -->http://imdb.com/name/nm0001877/

gladiator soundtrack is incredibly beautiful, I get the same feeling from listening to it as I do when listening to trance..sans beats. its very emotional, driving at times. really intense themes throughout

plus, it reminds me of the beauty and gradeur of the film! check it out if you can
