Let's count, shall we?
A total of 6 games (as part of the FF consecutive titles - ex. I, II, III... X, XI, XII) were/ will be (XII will be released soon) released over the duration of the PS and PS2's lives. That means that Playstation 7 should have FF XXV.

Originally posted by Omega_Blue i did not know that. i see nintendo is finally keeping up with the times... imo, nintendo needs to pull away from the kiddie-mario stuff and start creating some titles aimed more towards the adult audience. when i think "gamecube," i can only think of a few standout titles- RE series, MGS, metroid prime. the other "popular" titles are getting too childish- mario platformers are getting dull, zelda made the mistake of going too childish with the cel-shading.. that and square-enix isn't tailoring their games towards nintendo anymore, except for a few obscure titles, which dissapoints me.[/end rant] on a side note, i wish the console makers would start implementing backwards compatibility on all of their systems. it just makes sense. no one is going to buy a psx after the ps3 comes out, but we may still want to pick up the old school games in the bargain bin and bust them out every once in a while.

Originally posted by infinity HiGH well, I remember reading an article last week with the head of Square-Enix saying he's pretty impressed with what Nintendo showed him. That could mean nothing though. And I agree with backwards compatible. Both the PS3 and Revolution will be backwards compatible...with PS3 supporting even PSX games

Originally posted by Omega_Blue see, that would make me MUCH more prone to buy a PS3. what's Revolution? i'd be excited to see square-enix go back to nintendo- i have tons of fond memories of the old school SNES RPG's- FF6, chrono trigger, Illusion of Gaia, Secret of Mana, ok no more dork talk.
oh, that's the name of the prototype or something? like the "nintendo dolphin" or whatever?

*edit* Yans already onto it. lol Should of known
Haha, wicked...that'll go perfectly in my kitchen!!

They really need to work on that design.
Not so sure about that controller...
heh that controller looks like a croissant
NO, the controller looks like a two sided dildo, honestly
at firt glance I didnt like the Ps3, but now. its so sleek, slot in for the discs, nice colours (that will go well with my silvery/blackish harman/karmon receiver) so so. I love it !
the specs for ps3 are awesome !
and it can handle two HD screens at once!
ps3 is hot! i think its time to keep my modded xbox and ditch my ps2. it's ps3 time baby...
i never gave a shit about the machine used to run the games, just about the games themselves.
the only things that ever caught my intrest as far as the ps2 goes were the gran turismo series & the ff series.
hope they can do better with the ps3
