It's not that I "hate" tiesto, it's just I think he is technically lacking in his mixing. I saw him at this year's Ultra and thought he did an awesome set, despite some rather obvious mixing fuck ups.
He really is piss poor at mixing and should consider re-evaluating and improving his own skills, especially since he is looked up to by so many people and aspiring djs.
right on... honestly, i would NOT bash him if he was good at what he does. being good at what you do demands a certain level of respect even if i or someone else doesn't like the style or method. but everyone must agree when it comes to something that is purely objective, such as mixing, that you are either good or you aren't. that being said, i'll reiterate my point that someone who has been in this business for this long, gained this much momentum, fame, accolades, etc. how can you suck this bad at the fundamentals? if you go in to a hospital to remove your testicular cancer, and see the surgeon crack open a copy of Dummies Guide to Ballsacks just as the anesthetic kicks in, your future faith in that doctors ability might be a LITTLE shaken... at this point, i'd be actually relieved if i saw tiesto crack open a Dummies Guide to Mixing... at least it shows he knows he needs to work on it and is trying...
Are you a dj?

Esmaye is cute, but she can't sing live. DJ Mason is an awesome dj, but can't play the violin live. I agree with you on that one. Oh, and could someone track down Bibi? or whatever her name was, she needs to be shot
? i thought mason was really good n original on his dvd gereldome set, but at paris it was the complete opposite it sounded out of tune!? and as you said before was ruining some great tracks...
