Im not suggesting that all canadian women are teh hottness or that she won because she is canadian, but honestly, most canadians i know immigrated to canada or their parents are immigrants or thier grandparents... but canada isn't really old enough to have hundred generation born canadian... if that makes sense. But what i suppose i'm trying to say is that alot of canadians are a mix of a jillion diffrent countries... and so THERE. and wtf is a truly canadian name?? I can't even think of any stereotypes?

I liked Ms Canada's eyes. Glad they didn't pick Puerto Rico either. Believe Ms Mexico was hottest of the final five, but that's just me. Very disappointed with the politically driven Ms USA who looked like a heifer. Also disappointed no blondie in final five, the Swedish and Latvian girls were hot.

My Canadian name comment was a joke. I'm smart enough to understand canada like most modern countries are made up of a mix of ethnicities and foreign immigrants. If you want to press me, I would recognize someone of french or english origins as true canadians since they colonized Canada. I can't wait for a Black Nigerian women who moves to Iceland is crowned Miss Universe.

One thing that I will say, I've seen this girl in person and until someone pointed out to me I never knew Miss Universe was her. She looks very different in person.

As I said in another thread, her looks are due to her being Russian, not Canadian.

To be fair, no one is Canadian. Unless they're Native Indian. But yeah she's fine. The nose is a little distracting but she still gets an overall from me.
