Anyway. Im really glad that Macedonia is going to have a chance to enjoy Ferry Corstens wonderful stuff. He's probably awesome!
Let's see if other countries on Balkan can get this kind of DJ's to their clubs - Besides Slovenia that has managed to get Ferren to various clubs in Maribor and Ljubljana - Other good DJ's has probably been in Slovenia, But Im talking about Serbia & Montenegro and the rest of the countries.
i am from serbia and montenegro...we never had any of trance djs..
maybe i'll make trip to macedonia this summer

hahaha, well of course greeks, serbians and macedonians are going to agree that Albanians are terrorist, anyways i dont think its an educated opinion to say that most Albanians are bad, i mean there are people in the mafia and doing bad stuff, but compared what the serbs did to the kosovo-albanians is nothing compared to what albanians are doing now. all of these is because albanians are poor at the moment, later on when things will get better, things will change too. oh yeah and for that greek to say that he hates us, well man why are u hiring albanians to work for u, and dont tell me its because we are cheap, maybe because u trust us instead of all the immigrants in greece? anyways yeah im happy also to see that trance is growing in macedonia and greece isnt bad at all. im planning on visiting tirana next year or the year after that, maybe ill take a drive to macedonia or greece. i also have a few friends in serbia and i heard about a big festival this summer. and my friends in bulgaria told me that tiesto is going to be in sofia. like i said its great to see trance get bigger in that part of the world, maybe trance can make us all brothers again?! hahaha lets just hope. you know that even tho we are from different countries, but we balkaners are alike alot, i mean i have friends from all over the balkans and its just fun to hang out with them cus u feel like home. we dont talk about politics and bullshit like that, its not our worries, or care what others religions are, ect ect.

Well... actually, serbia does get it's share of trance acts, but it's all goa and psy artists.
yeah thats true gjorgji, we are different in alot of ways, anyways back to music, anyways what would make tiesto go in skopje? what do u think? personality i think maybe there is a rich club there and someone pays him money, or he just wants to get famous in the region. but im not sure.
yeah serbia has alot of psy, i heard. my friend luka from belgrade he listens to psy alot but also into uplifting. well tirana has alot of house music, deep and tribal, not really sure about funky, imo funky is the best of all types and then tribal (bennasi style). trance is dead there, well never was really alive. maybe ill go spin there sometimes haha. i think that these countries that dont listen to trance is because they really arent introduced to it. Like USA, well it is introduced but i mean all u hear in radio stations is fuckin rap and rnb, all that rock and pop shit. well unless u live in miami or the big cities. all u hear people is talkin about that motherfuckin black ass 50 cents who got shot 9 times by bitches that dont know how to fuckin shoot, he needs a bullet in the fuckin heart then see if he servives. i just fuckin hate rap and the hip hop culture. bottom line is that they need to get introduced to it, thats where i think Tiesto is doing in Skopje, and now u have Ferry coming and later on PvD, ect ect.
either its that or there is money involved
I actually played some trance att a friends party, stuff like Rank 1 - Airwave, Tisto - Lethal Industry and other classic. And the poeple was all like "we want stuff with more bass" and "we want stuff with a harder beat" so I put on Marco V - Godd and Yoji Biomehanika - Rain and they started saying things like "there's to much beat and no melody". When I asked what they liked to listen to at partys they all replied Operation Blade!!!
haha yeah i know man

Well, here's Carl Cox's flyer. I am very excided about this. The ticket price is only 15$. That's the advantage of going to parties here in Macedonia.

Carl Cox can really lay down some serious tunage, that guy is pretty tight. Have fun.
I've actually never heard a set by Carl Cox. But I read that his mixing is supposed to be amazing.
when cox came to belgrade last year,he had a limusine with black windows from hotel to party place, and music was the pretty shit, elektro house happy techno...crap

| Originally posted by zoric Yeah, I've heard that too from people that I know was there in Belgrade. I don't like him at all, But there is nothing wrong with the mixing that he is doing. Pretty nice mixing DJ that mixes stunning, But the tunes he plays sucks bigtime, Seriously. |
