No matter how insane she was (or is?) she still deserves a second chance. I read an article that made it sound like she really regretted what she had done and is looking for a clean slate.

This all sounds good.

But didnt Dr. Hannibal Lecter say the same thing.

Not only did she kill her own sister, but she was also an accomplice to several TEENAGE girl rapings.

I'm usually a very forgiving person, trust me. However, in this case I find it hard to give a girl like this a second chance.

I couldnt agree more. However, she may not deserve a second chance, but she also may no longer be a danger to society.

She is going to complete several stages in changing her identity completley, including her name. Lets just hope the police keep a record of this or we may have problems.

Now, do you think the general population are going to be able to recognize her after these changes? Technically she is getting the second chance she may or may not deserve simply because no one will no who she is.

didn't she miss her first chance for parole becasue she was caught partying(aka doing drugs in prison) with another fellow inmate(also a convicted child molester) and the becasue super vilent when they tried to relocate her to another penetentury

doesn't sound like a very rehabilitated person to me

Wonder if she was trying to win the sympathy of k-bekkers with that statement...

It sucks to be her man. If I was her, I wouldn't WANT to be let out of jail. No one will hire her, everyone will shun/attempt to hurt her, etc. I know she's changing everything, but that still sucks. It's like the old guy in the Shawshank Redemption... who wants to be let out of prison when it's the only safe place there is?

Not that I have sympathy for her, but I did for the guy in the movie, heh.

And other guys... you have some weird ideas... especially the cannibal, lol

I don't think she really has to worry about getting a job...aren't her parents uber rich? I'm sure they will support her and protect her That girl has no remorse for what she did. I would SO rather that guy from Shawshank Redemption be let out than her. Karla can change her name, and the way she looks, but she can never change who she really is, and what she has done.
