you know what even though brazil did a great job today i thought their performance wasnt very convincing. they didnt do a good enough job of penetrating the greek defence. they never really got a shooting situation inside the box. all their dangerous situations came from outside the box. and the robinho goal was quite the luck cuz damn when i was watching it i didnt believe hell be fast enough to catch that ball.

man that Adriano goal was so awesome
the Greek goalkeeper was like

alot of the Brazil games Ive seen in the past 2 years havnt been convincing actually, it may be Parreiras (sp) style who knows, but he won the 94 cup with that style
he even told the brazillian media be4 todays game that his team might lose or not play well because the team was still worn out from the Argentina game.whatever lol

i didn't see that at all, it was an easy german win.

both team were unorganized tho, many unfinished passes from both sides, defence was not up to par either.

They both looked unprepared, but the Germans won because of their young, fast and very talented players, Australians profited from the lack of experience of these young germans who didn't play cohesivly.

I think Germany might have a good shot for the title.

So Germany wins it and Argentina is about to play.

Damn Germans!

Argentina looking good to atm
still havent figured out why Bara let Riquelme (and even Saviola) go
same goes for the Spaniard Fabregas from Arsenal who's playing the WYC in Holland atm

cant keep em all i guess but still...
they sure made a mistake letting Fabregas go

Posted by SID133 on Jun-18-2005 20:03:

im going to have to go for mexico

Posted by sensorium on Jun-18-2005 20:39:

Figueroa was on fire today. Three goals. So now Argentina and Germany are in the next round. Too bad neither of them will win the tournament!

I think the final should to be Brazil vs Argenbosta at least one thing interesting in this shit cup.

How exactly are the teams that get to play the Confederations Cup chosen?

Posted by Alexander_DE on Jun-19-2005 10:22:

All I can say is:

And not to forget:

We're gonna win it!

Posted by The_G0dfather on Jun-19-2005 11:42:

Well, they're are all young and therefore not that arrogant. Ballack only does his duty as captain and a lead player. That's why he is seen as "arrogant". The rest shall follow like a pact of wolfs as a team. I know Germany might full of no names, but the bundesliga isn't that promoted, comercial and stocked up full of money like the Seria A, Primera Division and Premiership are. I'd actually rather prefer watch Leagues with less money, because the players aren't that arrogant.
This is a perfect example of what I call arrogance:

Posted by The_G0dfather on Jun-19-2005 12:37:

plz, dont even get me started about TOTTI
he's fucked it up big time
your right about the bundesliga, i guess ppl just arent that interested in german football, but the same goes for the French competition although that became alot more popular since France 98. Lets hope the WC in 2006 can do the same for you guys.

As for your national team;
i have to admit that their gameplay has become alot more attractive since Jurgen Klinssmann, hes done a great job in terms of shall i say "appreciation from other countries".
There's still a long way to go though.

and as for ballack, i was thinking about some interview i saw with him, cant exactly remember what happened but i recall it being pretty arrogant, which amazed me to see from him

brazil got 0wned

Posted by Eddie N MIAMI on Jun-19-2005 23:17:

haha dammmn Brazil lost to Mexico lol

Imagine if Borghetti woudve made that penalty (after 3 tries because of players going into the zone lol)

and whats up with Europe I mean Greece, U guys let this team win the Euro Cup????? sad

Posted by fastmp3 on Jun-19-2005 23:32:

hey Eddie don't get me started on Greece, because i'm gonna be extremely mean

Posted by Eddie N MIAMI on Jun-19-2005 23:48:

no please continue fast
Europe deserves to get made fun of, they bash the Copa America cause Brazil had alot of backups playing (they still won and the Copa america was a better tourny overall, and wow that final beating a full Argentinan squad, great game) and in Europe they let some crappy team like Greece beat all those "superpower Euro teams" who played like crap except for like a couple good games.

Posted by Hman on Jun-20-2005 01:15:

Fucken brazil lost
Owneddd....

Posted by sensorium on Jun-20-2005 02:40:

Good game by Mexico or bad game by Brazil? Both.

I feel sorry for Japan, Brazil will have to score many goals to forget about today's game.
