Ahhhhh Guvernment, my EDM home away from home.
For the most AMAZING pictures of the inside of Guvernment during events I HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommend visiting www.shayaphotography.com
He takes the most high-quality and mind-blowing shots of the lights and dancers in action...after every event I'm always waiting for his pics to be posted on the site. ENJOY!
Here's also a video that my friend Karim made (all credit goes to him) of the Decadence Party that featured AvB headlining. (Just cut and paste into a browser window)

Irish: Have fun at Pvd...perhaps I will see you there?
i really want to see above and beyond but i can't find the following information.
- how i can get tickets for either boston or toronto.
- what the best ways are to get to either location (driving, train, etc.)
- and how early i should come to see them from the beginning of their set.
if anyone could help with that i will love you with force forever.

I want to go to this sooooo bad. I've never been to Guvernment and the only thing stopping me is......... i have no 1 to go with.
but iam willing to drive up with people and stay for a few days up there since i wont be working around that time.
Do you need a passport? or is an id and birth certificate fine?
How many hrs does it take from NorthNJ/ NYC
gabriel, you n00b!
obviously canada is TECHNICALLY a foreign country but for all intents and purposes for us, they work just the same- ie, just bring your license, that's fine.
drive? be 'round 7 hrs.
u wanna drive there? i kinda wanna do a road trip... as long as it's 2-3 of us so that hotel room won't be that expensive.
I def have to go to the GUV some time this year

he rocked it in 2004 (march 13 a day before my bday) and then April 16...which i MISSED out again on
. Guv is his FAVORITE venue...so of course he would rock it there! I made up for it by visiting Miami and then going to SPACE for him. but there is really NO comparison in terms of VENUE.
If you take Route 17 up rather that the thruway it cuts off an hour and a half of the drive, and there is no tolls on route 17 as well! If anyone needs these directions let me know....they are a BIT more complicated but all-in-all pretty simple and worth the shoter drive and less tolls......
Also if you time it to skip peak hours at the border and in toronto, you should get there in about 7 hours
If you are crossing the border in Niagara Falls you only need a drivers lisence, but I know (for future advice) they are MUCH more strict about having passports when you go up to Montreal (route 87)....you often have to stop at customs if you don't have a passport!
And Pheonixbebe is right....guv will strip search you to the bone, and you often might feeel a bit uncomfortable with WHERE they are putting their hands...they mean business, especially with guys!!
Oh and Guv does take credit cards, but it is a pain in the ass....Pheonix is also right about changing money at the border...if you use US money in a club you get RAPED!!!!

isn't the Montreal entrance in Vermont or something, totally different! yes for some reason they seem more strict at the Montreal entrance - once we got there at 2am and they almost grilled us for 1/2 an hour no joke. guess they had nothing better to do
I don't know what it's like passing the border patrols for Montreal. But in Niagara Falls, it's really depends on which place are you coming through. I think there are three borders around Niagara Falls region. Lewiston, NY, Niagara Falls, NY/ON, and Fort Erie, ON. My favorite place is Lewiston, NY. They have a place for changing money and I always have shorter time to pass then other two places. My worst place is Port Erie, ON. I somehow had been strucked for few hours there. I think they sometimes are stricted about passport and other things like patrols for Montreal. Also, Greyhound from Buffalo to Toronto always pass Port Erie, ON section. I think there are few additional passing place/border around Niagara Falls region. But they are only for people who have Canpass. (I don't know what this is for)
Although I don't expect too much on it(this has been on and off for long time), The ferry from Rochester, NY to Toronto, ON will be operated during the summer.

If you guys wonder more about the border situation between the US and Canada, check these web sites out.
Canada: http://www.cbsa-asfc.gc.ca/menu-e.html
The US: http://www.cbp.gov/
They both have a section for border wait times(Updated hourly!).

Documents Needed for Travel
ok they said a Passport isn't NEEDED at this time for re-entry into the US from Canada, however it MAY take a tad longer than usual if u don't have a passport.

Planning on seeing them in Boston before they disappear to the west.
