The larger the screen, the more different the experience: the more intense the action, the hotter katie holmes looks, the drearier the decor feels...and of course it wont stretch all the way to the top because of the 2.35:1 aspect ratio of anamorphic widescreen. So, uhmm, you're wrong. Die...

the nipples on the batsuits of batman forever/batman and robin would probably be as big as the moon on imax

ai ai ai, relax... we WOULD HAVE seen it on IMAX but it was sold out till Friday and we were jonesin' for that movie like for another line I would like to go again, actually, and see it at IMAX... And Katie Holmes always looks like an unhappy cat, she's ass... sorry dude.

Ok, saw it. Great acting, nice props everywhere, and a highly engrossing and well paced story. The fight scenes sucked bad, though, which is kind of a major blow to a Batman movie. And there seemed to be a gap of story between Bruce's initial preparations for becoming Batman (creating poor metal bats, scouting for equipment) to him being a full-blown settled action hero.
In summary: Very good, but not a classic as Burton's take on the figure from 1989.

aahhh....haha...sorry love...the whole "katie holmes is ass" comment threw me off a bit...

Katie Holmes pisses me off. Especially since this whole gay Tom Cruise shit...

Posted by Drew1127 on Jun-17-2005 05:02:

alyssa and i just watched it... story line was ok.... the only thing that was off in pervious batmans, it was the joker who killed bruce waynes parents.

that hallucienagetic agent was pretty cool. Thats once hell of a drug!!

anyone noticed that Liam Neeson was playing the role of the dark side of the force in this movie... lol still the master and the apprentice concept.

i believe the comics say it was some bum from the streets, not the joker. i think tim burton just made it in the storyline to make it easy for the audience.

Posted by fr0st on Jun-17-2005 05:38:

Yes this batman has no relation to the previous movies......

i *really* liked it A LOT. this would def have been awesome to watch in an IMAX theatre.

Posted by Sunshine79 on Jun-17-2005 13:57:

thought it was good but was too tired to really appreciate it. didn't really like the dude who played batman, however. michael keaton and val kilmer were my favs.

michael keaton just doesn't seem suave and sophisticated enough to be bruce wayne... but i'll admit he's the best of the bunch in the pre-2005 batmans

Posted by arturob on Jun-17-2005 14:36:

val kimer and cloney were 2 shit batmans! really shit!

keaton and bale ARE the best!!! loved the movie,,, so dark!

Posted by vtec junkie on Jun-17-2005 14:39:

Movie was great but a little too long for my own liking. Kinda boring at times.

Posted by Drew1127 on Jun-17-2005 14:39:

adam west is the shit! lol

I think Keaton was the only actor to bring the necessary degree of wrath to the role. When he says "I'm going to kill you" to the joker in the end scene, you really believe it. Bale's Batman is much more soft, leaving his enemies unconscoius to the cops, or leaving them to die in some accident. Keaton only allowed people to live when he needed them to do a favor for him.

Posted by trunks1022 on Jun-17-2005 14:54:

yeah, but batman never kills his archenemies....
