I had another bad experience at fluid.........

it was a weekend........no hip hop night, but still that same hip hop shit in the main room. anyways i was chilling by the barand i saw this black dude (probably the only brother in there) dancing with these three chicks as they walked by. He seemed to be gaining confidence as they walked away.......so he started dancing with another hottie as she walked to the bar. Her boyfriend.......4 foot nothing punk kid told him to back off and she herself told him that she wanted no part of him. The guy said "dont worry man ill give her back. relax its all cool". then all of a sudden he grabbed the girl by the arm.........

The 4 foot spanish guy gave one nod to a giant friend and hell broke loose. The black dude got a beer bottle over the head and he got stomped like crazy by a bunch of guys. When the bouncers came and flash a light in his face, we was dazed, bleeding and had a welt on his head the size of a fist. They then flashed the bar and it was COVERED in blood.

I felt really bad, he deserved something........but not that.

the fluid crowd got really rough over the last few years. I used to LIVE at fluid when i was 20 and people were always having a great time.

Two incidents in two years......pretty bad ones too. The lighting affects dude got his ass beat by a gang of bikers last year.

the distinction between morality and legality is a huge one.

A dealer is providing a service, everybody in that transaction knows, and accepts the terms. A customer wants a product, and the supplier can fullfill that demand.

Being robed at gun point is completly different, and immoral. Its one sided, and unfair.

selling pot to somebody, should not warrant being robbed.

EDIT: i didnt say carrying a gun was justified, just merely stating the different situations which exist in our world.

You're right, TO definitely IS a safe city, especially when compared to a lot of places out there. I too have seen a person getting executed, it was a f***ed up experience, I was very young. Three summers ago I went back home to Sarajevo, and as me and my brother were just chilling outside, automatic gunfire started up, and sprayed the wall behind us. Instinct definitely does take over, but for me the instinct was to f***ing run. Just two examples, out of more. I've been around guns, and never has anything good happened out of it, thus I always tend to have a very negative reaction whenever anything having to do with firearms breaks out.

Buddy, believe me I know...and i ran as well, hell, there was a slow ass chick in front of me in her high heels and fake tits who almost got stomped on cause her fat ass couldn't move round that corner fast enough.

After the first shot, my worst fear was that this was going to turn into a gang beef or something. There were around 20 young guys all standing around there. Most of em probably did't even know each other...but there wasn't any way of knowing who was going to start doing what. Like i said, everything happened quickly...

The inital scuffle, the shot, the screams, the stampede to get outta the line of fire...

Anyway, here's hoping the dude who got shot a speedy recovery. Dunno what he did, but getting shot in the stomach can't be a pleasent experience.
