Very nice production! These sound effects, starting at around 0:46; remember me to the noise in the old computer game "keen 1" when you died of crashing with a monster
This song will stay in my playlist for a long time, that's sure!

lets have a listen then after all those comments

Lol that bassline is exactly the same as Whirpool - Alaska (Filo & Peri remix), which means AWESOME BASSLINE . Very good drive, nice driving percussion as well, very basic thouhg. That acid misses some atmosphere and doesnt really is IN the mix, more outside of it, doesnt really fit. And then those cheezy bass chords , could have been so cool and then those cheezy chords. I think the vocal has been implemented pretty nicely actually . Nice percussion fill before the break kicks in. I feel this production has way more in it then you made of it now for some reason. Vocal is a bit out of key with the strings at some points, a pity. Climax sounds really commercial and simplistic not my taste. Production wise its ok but also very simplistic, with only 3 or 4 elements its not really hard to eq things right and i do still think the mix sounds really flat.

Not a real fan of this track, i heard better work from you.

I agree about the acidey thingy feeling a bit out of place. Everything else was superb and fit perfectly.

Superb sound, bren!!! The melody is too thin for my liking, but it fits good in with the vocals. Bassline is tight - yepp.

Good stuff.

Thanks once again for all the feedback guys

I have taken all your comments on board whilst working on the dub mix (which is sounding pretty tight and less cheesy)

I LOVED Diamond Dust, so I thought I'd d/l this and Open Air. I'll comment later in an edit. YOU ROCK.

EDIT: Pretty good. Yes the lyrics are cheesy, but that doesn't detract from the listening experience one bit... well, for me, anyhow. And you continue to impress me with those pads

bren! you're back with a punch mate! awesome track here, beautiful strings, and the lead synth is a nice uplifting instrument. One thing that i miss in this track though ... you didn't use my favorite bit of madonna's vocal from this song, the one where she sings 'do you wanna go hiiiiigherrr'

top notch stuff bren, keep it up.

Stan. (aka en2t :])

I just refound this and the vocoder remix on my hard drive, i'm really amazed

I remember not liking the remix too much at first (meaning one year ago), but i start to like it more and more.

Both remixes are really, really good, i even think a combination of both would be the best. I somehow miss the vocals in the dub version and the cutted and panned vocals would really fit well in the vocal version

nice work!
