-- Ferry Corsten & Edgar V @ Space 6/17/05 REVIEW!
Pages (7): « 1 [2] 3 4 5 6 7 »
Last night was my first event with a big name like ferry. I was absolutly blown away! He had some really good tunes, although I wish I could have stayed till the end. Driving across the alley in the early AM sucks. I will be attending more shows like this!
i wish i could have stayed until the end, i think we left at like 515-6:00? we got lost as soon as we left and couldnt find 95 north, got to boca at 700 and had to get back up at 845 to go finish things off with my apartment @ latitudes.
ive tried to eat earlier today had 2 pieces of french toast at dennys. coming from a small simple life town that paris and nicole came for their simple life 2 series to miami is the hardest thing ive ever done in my life people. ive been so nervous and scared its messed with my eating and sleeping habits. ill be moving down here august 1st and it seems like ill hopefully find my comfort zone again cause im moving down here alone and all, but all the TAs that i met last night were so nice.
Anyone have anymore pics of the night, I hope i'm in a couple, hard to miss a 6'6" guy

| Originally posted by glittergirl i had a great time! its the first time i actually got out since i started working at Mango's, and it felt so good to dance to something other than hiphop and reggae for once! the dj that was playing when we got there in the room where they usually have hiphop was actually really good. i didnt mind waiting for the main room to open. Edgar V played the best i remember him playing out of all the times i have seen him. i really wish i could have heard his closing set but my friends wanted to leave, and at that point, i had a sharp pain in my (i dont know if the area is considered part of my chest or my stomach) and i thought maybe i drank too much redbull, but today when i woke up i realized i pulled a muscle there pretty good. work is going to be difficult tonight. but i didnt complain about leaving early cuz i was in pain, so we left around 5:30. Ferry's set was just plain amazing... i didnt recognize a lot of the songs that he played that i really liked, but he played a lot of oldies but goodies too. there was nonstop energy and i dont think i stopped dancing all night, except when the heat got unbearable and i was trying to find an uncrowded spot to cool off, but that was difficult. there was a lot of people shoving, and it was hard to dance, and every time i went to dance on the stage with rachel the rude assholes standing next to her kept basically trying to push us off, so i got fed up, pushed the asshole back, and went back down on the floor to dance. but i do love the pic with us at ur house as well as wid bill n mustafa...best group of ppl to go clubbing wid btw...<3

but this was one of the best weekends this year so far, and its because of all of u. I hope to be able to come down again soon.

How long of a set did Ferry spin?

Edgar rocked it out before Ferry and when Ferry played Above & Beyond + Andy Moor - Air for Life that's when i knew the party was JUST getting started... It was also cool hearing Airbiscuit - Lately.. such a cutie track!!
As much as I love Ferry I must admit that Edgar is THE MAN! Opening + Closing sets were AMAZING! It was so much fun to be in the booth with DA, Lis and her BF !!
Props to Eric and Koky cuz we all left at 7:30am and you people stayed till the very end!
[ Koky ... all I gotta say is DAMN.. and I think you know why. That is all I can say. DAMN DAMN DAMN! ]

An unbelievable night that I wish was still going... Ferry was awesome and Edgar was just out of control. Most will think I'm crazy, but I enjoyed listening to Edgar V. a bit more than Ferry Corsten last night. Quick thanks to Arturo and Felipe! Awesome partying with you guys... cant wait to do it again! And of course Anthony and Lis.
my official clubbing partners: You guys are the BEST, Partying wouldn't be the same without you guys. Now, we wait for PVD!!
Paul van Dyk - The Other Side... Perfected the night!!! I'm sooooooo hooked on that track.
:-)

All right, it's a day later and i am finally ready for my review after catching up on some much needed sleep.
Well first off, i have tosay it was an awsome night, tunes were out of control. Edgar's opening set had me movin. he is by far my favorite local dj, every time i see him he gets me tired before the main act comes out.
now ferry just blew me away,he had that crowd by the balls from the first track. that club exploded when he came on. he had the crowd by the balls all night long. i love going to see ferry cuz i think he is just as good as tiesto or van dyk, but there are alot less people. but friday night the people that were there were a little to crazy. did you guys see the group of assholes that kept jumping on stage??? talk bout fucked up!!! whenever i go to space love being up on stage,as some TAs have seen @ sander or deep dish, i feel like you get that little connection with the dj, but that stage the other night was just to crazy. i saw Mr. morden get hit like 5 or 6 times, and he was just standing infront of the stage.
i went with a few friends but they left at like 2:30,so that killed my momentum a little, but there was no way i was leaving. i ended up standing under the Dj booth with DA,amber, and Lyss. thank god for you TAs, you guys are awsome thank you for chillin with me.
i have to say friday night ferry cemented himself as my #1 Dj. and i am never going to miss his shows at space.
DA: very cool meeting you for the 3rd time, but this time we actually got to talk.
Amber: it was very mice getting to know you youare a very cool chick.
Lyss/phoenixbabe: very cool chillin with you and i hope you had a blast at nocturnal.
mellymel: the only TA that knew who i was, it is always great seeing you.
hope tosee you guys at the next show.
SMOKEY
thank you eveyone for thr review.... i cant wait till tonight in jax!!!! he goes on from 11 to 2.. i cant fucking wait...

yeaaa!!! thanks for the sick picture DA - i knew i saw you with the camera up there. this was obviously sometime pretty late into the night...
. ferry played one of the best sets i've ever seen him play - especially the last 2 hours. then edgar brought back some really crunchy grooves that kept me there till idontknowwhat-o'clock...

Good times, indeed.
i had an amazing time!!! it was great seeing so many TA's out there!! edgar v's opening set was out of control, everytime i hear him it gets better and better. Ferry's set wow i don't even know what to say. Can someone ID the last song he played, it was ridiculous!!!!
I'm so glad i went can't wait till next time!
