Such an inconsiderate/racist of a comment and to display your nutsack of a brain on the web is quite a pity!
To Welfare "gurl", you are Asian aren't you according to your avatar? Japanese? Either way, your knowledge
of Asia sucked!
Facts:
1. Saigon does not = Vietnam! It's the capital, therefore, Saigon=Capital, Vietnam=country,
like Tokyo is the country of Japan for the "gurl" So, your logic sucked and your premise swallowed! Saigon was the capital of The Republic of South Vietnam prior to April 30th, 1975. On this date,
the Communist from the north backed by the Soviet Union and China invaded and took over South Vietnam.
Thus, the renamed it Ho Chi Minh city after the their leader. Ho Chi Minh was in France and studied
Karl Max/ Weber's Communist Manifesto; returned to Vietnam and started the communist movement there.
And, he pretty much ruined the country by doing it.
-Vietnam was divided then, North was controlled by HCM and his followers, the South was by the South
Repulic of VN allied with the U.S.( Very similar state to Korea today)
2. People in Asia utilized bicycles/mopeds/motorcycles because it's the most efficient mode of
transportation. the streets there are narrow and the distance to travel is not like here, far and few
in between. Within five minutes, you could easily obtain food or any other vital goods. So, there is no
need for 7 tons SUV or Hummers H2 or H3
3. Vietcong, not Vietcom. Viet is Vietnamese and cong is short for cong san(meaning communist party).
4. This is all the reply for the haters and the idiots. Therefore, any ugly comments, ethnocentric, blatant,
superficial and idiosyncratic craps need not reply. It was suppose to be a fun and happy section
of the forum until these stained tampons dripped the stupidity.

Not really, actually, Hanoi is the capital of Vietnam.

And it's not that there is NO NEED for cars, but there is no money for cars (for everyone). Ever seen this many motorcycles in the Netherlands?

And, no one cares.

Traffic accidents soar in Vietnam
HANOI - The number of traffic accidents in Vietnam has increased with a fast rate, causing great losses of lives and property to the country. In the first five months of this year alone, 12,006 traffic accidents occurred nationwide, killing and injuring 5,250 people, according to Vietnam's National Committee for Traffic Safety (NCTS)here Wednesday.

The NCTS said the increase in traffic accidents was mostly due to drivers' violations of traffic rules, poor state management, and ineffective coordination between concerned ministries and sectors in implementation of traffic safety measures. Although the NCTS receives large budget allocation, the committee has only invested the money in raising public awareness about traffic safety while failing to take effective measures to prevent accidents.

Vietnam now has about 600,000 motor vehicles and over 9.2 million motorbikes, but only 50 percent of the motorbike owners have driving licences. Worse still, of about 100 driving schools currently in operation, more than 20 have been suspended because of their poor facilities.

100 driving schools to almost 10 million vehicles
