Remember the different time Zones... Tiesto can do NYE on New York, and then go to Vegas... which is a couple of hrs early..

As far as the concert goes

quote:
Aiming for a tour that reaches far beyond the established DJ show, Tiesto and Angel LIVE have created a sensory driving four-hour production. Tiesto will be immersed in a massive half-million dollar set with production features such as the signature Tiesto LED surrounded DJ booth, as well as a three story LED wall. In addition, visually stunning elements, such as a massive pyrotechnics and special effects show and more than a hundred lighting fixtures and lasers, accentuate the entire production.

Enhancing the intense visuals and adding an electric and magical atmosphere to the mix, the show will include more than thirty performances including aerial acts, Butoh dancers, Samba and Taiko drummers, flying Geishas, singers and Carnival showgirls. The performers will surround Tiesto in two different acts, as part of the Around the World theme of this year's tour. Distinctive visual programming will take the audience on a dazzling trek that begins in America and traverses the globe, accented with live performance segments from South America, Asia and other countries.

I took it from the Resident Advisor.

Even though it must have been all the awesome stuff in Holland and all that.. Im still going.. sounds cool and different, never seen this kind of stuff before, besides the Sasha & Digweed which was AWE-SOMEE!!!!!.. Im just wondering what is the Hard Rock thing??... Im looking @ the sponsors, and one of them is Club Space.... and since Ive heard the owner of Space owns Gryphon in the Hard Rock Cafe & Casino, that this Tiesto deal would be in some arena thats in there?... I was hoping for the AAA.

hmm tru but still, its TIC = arena or stadium. thats still my argument. And ICE got him for Memorial Day weekend, why would they get him yet AGAIN for NYE? it doesnt make sense. in fact that to me strengthens the argument for NYC, he hasnt been here YET this year

oh damns wdh are we both doing in the FLTA forums talking about this

Actually Suburban Train Wreck but he won't play that, it's one of his older and BETTER productions...he likes to stay away from his good work...you know the stuff that doesn't get cheesy.

i am new to the board. thought i might answer a few questions that have come up. i am working on the project with GK / Angel LIVE.

Hard Rock Arena is a new arena opening this summer at the Seminole Hard Rock Casino in Hollywood. Capacity is 6400 and it's state of the art, with an excellent VIP area overlooking the arena, standing floor GA of 2550, and perhaps the best of all of the venues on the Tour because of the intimacy of the scale while still allowing for the full stage production that goes with the Tour.

The event will be in late October prior to Voodoo Festival in New Orleans.

That is kind of small, but whatever, I'm game. I think it's funny how so many people say they are not going. That either proves that there are a bunch of liers on here or Miami is waaaaay to spoiled that people who have been following him aren't going to pay up to see him in a (possibly) once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. I've been to Holland and I see some others have as well, but for those who haven't to pass up a shot like this... that's just funny to me. Even if it does cost $60 or so, I mean come on! "I won't go unless I get in free." To Tiesto In Concert??? Yeah, this must be Miami
