| Originally posted by Wraith Yes, I can't afford the $150 piece of wank behringer equipment. Woe is me. I really hope you don't work for behringer..... actually, since you seem to have the intellect of a chimp, it would explain why alot of what Behringer makes is shit. I guess they have to settle for whatever they can get. |

But you have to understand that It is aimed on young ,budding ,aspiring dj not seasoned pros like yourself. therefore a comparison with high end equipment is utopic, as you can see. Somebody was comparing an enry level controler with the 600$ technics mk5 which is one of the best , if not the best , turntable out there . my friend who is a local dj said that his 14year old sister bought it and she is currently learning to mix on it. He, having tried the unit himself ,said he could keep the tracks in synch because the pitch resolution of tractor is very acurrate. Nothing high end about a 150$ software controller ,daaaa!!! The basics though are all there and its better than a mouse. Have you ever seen a picture of the unit carl cox learned djing on?? It proves that its not the gear you have its how you use it. You idiots are comparing it with your 2000$ setups. Its as utopic as comparing a 200$ maudio midi controller with the latest roland or as comparing a 20.000 digital mixing board with a lil 4track. If somebody said he wanted to get into production and buy fruity loops with a 50$ midi controler would you suggest a protools HD with 2 powermacs G5 and a 36 channel controller instead? I guess you would...now wouldn't you timmy? I am now unsubscribing for this thread knowing for sure that you people will always be sheep ...sheep with headphones!! |

). While I am kinda worried about that (I mean, the FX unit died, who knows what else will go wrong?), it is a very good board with good, clear sounding preamps and the EQs are smooth.

+1, I have been using PCDJ Red since I was about 12 and when I got my CD decks earlier this year it was so easy for me to mix. Took me maybe 2 transitions to get used to them.
yeah because you wanted something to dj with
and you bought that and you have been using it since you where twelve.
you learned to mix on something and took your skills to better gear,
but just try to explain that
pcdj was all you could afford when you where twelve
and using it helped you a lot ,
to a oneminded idiot.
Behringer dj mixers are crap.
But this is a software controler we are talking about.
Maybe pcdj is better at the same price range.
There is also a new faderfox software controler that might be an option for the bidding dj.
I am controling logicpro7 and reason3 with a behringer controler
and I never had a problem with it.
Just stay away from their speakers ,
they are not that good.
