I have a terrible, terrible habit of doing that to people who are tailing me. I'm sorry...

I hate calling a hotline, airport, movie theatre, telephone company, or number for computer help and always talking to an automated system, in which it takes 5 minutes to hear all options and then use the option for customer service and then being talked to by a foreigner with such a heavy accent, that I can't comprehend anything.

I hate that purple water invention when you pee in a pool. It's blasphemy

If someone is tailgating me I'll just slam on the breaks. I got rear ended once but it's all good. The other driver got out and started yelling at me. I just laughed at him and told him that he was at fault for the accident and that I hoped he would enjoy buying me a new bumper.

Yes, when you pee, supposively, the water is supposed to turn purple. I've always heard that at public pools. hahaaha I don't know why. Are they going to drain the whole thing, make everyone get out? lol. Maybe just a good point and laugh? I don't think it's true. I went skinny dipping this weekend and I know one my friends peed, regards of what she says. Warmth doesn't just come outta nowhere. It felt nice, though.

Moral, as an insurer, you suggest I do that? I swear, some people are out to do that on purpose. I can tell we've got some avid road ragers in this thread hahaa.

That's what my mom always says, "I hope he just runs into me!" As I'm in the passenger seat.

u guys are so angry

nothing makes me mad. i'm always perfect and happy.

jk

+1 on the tailgating thing...i step on the brakes too and when they pass me i usually smile or flick them off.

i don't like people who think too much before speaking or people who are just generally slow. it pisses me off and i don't have the patience for it.

especially when i'm PMS-ing and someone calls at my work and i answer and they're like, "yea, ummm...gee i'm not sure if i called the right place...ummm, hmmm, i think i'm trying to get a hold of the secretary for ummm, hmm, let's see...mike robb..."

i'm just JESUS FUCKING C*#$( get to the goddamn point!

what is so hard about saying, "hi can i talk to mike robb's secretary"

hahahh Sooooo true!

I just typed out something else, but Sly, our lists are getting larger and larger, especially amongst everyone's one liners.

I think I should retire from this thread.

ugh especially driving home from Madison on sundays, where I-94 is only 2 lanes instead of 3. i hate sunday drivers.

i also hate slow talkers, slow walkers, slow eaters, slow drinkers... like slylee said just slow people in general. i don't know why but i like to do things fast so i get really irritated and impatient if someone is being all slow.

i coined a new term last night - "sunday service" - to apply to the retards who work sunday nights and are just crappy at serving customers. i hate to get rude but last night i got extremely slow service at the front desk of Marquette's dorms and then slow service at the Ale House. it should not take 10 min to get a beer at 10pm on sunday night when there's only 5 customers.

shit i think just sundays in general make me mad

what, i use that excuse all the time. its a good one.

That would depend on where you live. Tell me the state and I'll tell you whether or not it is a good idea. I'm in Ontario and the courts here have ruled time and time again that if one vehicle rear ends another the striking vehicle's driver is 100% regardless of the actions of the other driver (so I could actually come to a full stop and still not be at fault).

I'm guessing from the you're making some type of joke, however, in Missouri you could get away with the slam on the breaks thing as well provided that you don't come to a complete stop.

NOOOOOOOOOOO nooo. It's not like that. It's just the irony! and then just because I'm a dork, I feel like your letting me in on the greatest secret in the world. Kinda like a police officer issuing a ticket and then deciding to crumble it up, throw it on the ground, rub it into the cement and then spit on it. You are the system, yet it's still us vs. the system. hahaa. That kinda thing.

But I could never do that purposely. I will inform my mother, though.

You're lucky.

No I don't mean like rudely tailgating and driving like an asshole. Where I live, where the interstate is two lanes, it's commonly known courtesy (and pretty much the rule) that if you are going to drive slower to use the right lane so people can pass you. It's just that sometimes there are these oblivious knobs who drive the speed limit in the left lane and won't merge to the right to let the faster traffic pass. It's actually dangerous as much as it is careless and rude.

Posted by lcid on Jun-27-2005 19:50:

in Wisconsin... "obstructing the flow of traffic" by driving slow in the fast lane is a $175 fine. too bad i've never seen anyone get pulled over for it.

Posted by UWM on Jun-27-2005 19:51:

Wow I didn't know it was actually illegal. I guess it's like that law where you can get fined for driving >10mph below the speed limit.
