wasnt really a fan of any of the hot hatches, the renault is just ugly and generally crap, the astra seems to be utter shite to drive and the golf isnt all that quick for a hot hatch tho its still a nice car.

the russian roulette road testing was quite amusing tho, it was very........horseradishy

yea, when he mentioned the M button on the new M5, the song completely changed the mood, definitely a great show.

I really do think that that Renault Megane is quite a beautiful car, whatever anyone says. There's someone near where I live with a pimped out Laguna, which looks pretty stunning too. The Astra ain't half bad either.

Chris Evans was pretty funny on the show, and not a bad driver either, although he does have a strange taste in cars.

Was Mint last nite

31 July 2005

This week on Top Gear, Jeremy went to meet his maker, Richard nearly went to meet his maker, and James exhibited a level of daring not yet seen from everyone's favourite foppish gentleman.

Queen please

I love the Astra! (maybe because my father is one of the leaders at Opel Belgium where they are made )
And tell me, are you going to drive the car the way they did in TopGear? Or do you just want to have a very nice looking sporty car? The only place were you'll drive it fast is on the highway... and as far as I know, they ar rather straight, so I see no further problem with the Astra...

Top Gear has just come to the USA finally. I got into it and became my fav show when living in the UK. Cant wait to see the new episodes as they slowly get over here.

lol thats a pretty poor argument to be fair. I live where there are plenty of winding country roads to blast down at stupid speeds and i for one would prefer a car that will go round the corners rather than just do nothing when i turn the wheel.

plus i really cant see the good looks in the car, looks crap to me
