Memories remain, yes. but presently that space is as DEAD as any other club that has gone under (LIMELIGHT, SF, etc.). Ikon actually survived a bit longer than the other incarnations. we're talking about what exists now. and nothing will ever beat Twilo, as most ppl here will attest to.

eh, if space takes it over it hink they should renovate the place a bit more. put more decorations and that room where the bathrooms are where theres a wall, they should knock that wall down or knock half of it down or do something with that area cuz it needs something else imho. also place needs better lighting, lighting there sucks balls..but i just think if space does take over, they better change it up a bit. but i do ageee, space in miami wasnt that great as every1 said to be (the terrace is what made space imho), so i guess we can only hope for the best

if the space management took over spirit nyc...dt wouldn't be playing there this weekend. no chance in hell.

i'm very happy with spirit the way it is. the darkness,the sound, and the friendly staff give me my fav clubbing atmosphere. space only provides one of those.

well you can't light a blunt in spirit and smoke it on the dance floor without be harrassed by flashlight toting thugs like you can space! lols not that i have or anything lols

yea supposedly that club has so much square footage yet they just made more rooms out of it. I doubt they are using the space in that club to their advantage. why did they chop up twilo

yeah thinking back to when i was last at Space, the club is only GOOD during special nights and when TAs & Company are around to watch out for each other . the ppl there could be jerks at times

cuz smoking inside is illegal. thats the best staff in nyc. they are mike bindra's staff and have been with him for years.

i got a story about space staff that will shock everyone but to sit here and type would only make the memory of it even worse. especially since i was in the same situation at vinyl with the SAME STAFF AT SPIRIT and it was handled it a much more professional manner. fuck club space.

i completely agree. i think space taking over spirit would be horrible, and another example of the littler guy getting pushed out for another "mcclub" as tae so aptly put it. i think made has been doing a great job with spirit lately, and i'd hate to see them get pushed out just as they were starting to get some momentum. besides who needs another crobar? what we need is more crackdens. and be sure to bring ur earplugs only if u dont wanna hear the $450,000 phazon, by far the best system in this city. i mean, i dont wanna sound like a spirit whore, i'd rather go to seho any day, but i think they deserve a little credit. made did a great job with the place. by the way, is this even true or is it still just a rumor?
