You should see this wicked Top Ramen recipie Im working on
i didn't even know people outside of Wisconsin ate brats
my method is to boil them in beer for a while, then throw them on the grill until they're nice and crispy. i like to load 'em with kraut and spicy brown mustard. mmmm and on a soft toasted buttery bun (not those crap hotdog buns you buy in a bag... i'm talking fresh bakery style rolls) = delicious!!
personally though my specialty is spicy italian sausages.
I ate 7 brats in a day once.
I <3 brats.

iv never had brats
Yeah that's why my friends call me Moby. Not because of my resemblance to the electronic artist, but rather my resemblance to the sea-dwelling creature made famous by Herman Melville.

you haven't LIVED until you've had a brat..?
brat = OK
i'd rather have a ballpark kosher frank loaded up!
i had a reindeer dog in alaska one time
i felt guilty and could only have a bite.
i still remember my first time eating a bratwurst... Summerfest of 1999 (i lived in NY and was visiting Milwaukee, and you couldn't even buy brats where i lived in NY)
it took me 5 years to learn to like kraut, but now i feel like my brat is naked if it doesn't have kraut on it.
mmm i'm hungry now.
Anyone try this over the weekend?

I can't believe you're using Anchorsteam beer where I come from that stuff is expensive ( albeit not local ).
Is that stuff considered regular brew where you live?
( I'm talking in the tense form when I used to live in Cleveland )
It's not too bad to buy this if you're in San Francisco/Bay Area, but outside is a different story. It was like 8-9 bucks a sixer in Los Angeles.
itll make you shit like a mule

Did anyone try this?
woah cool.
Does the type of beer matter?
Should I use piss beer, like budweiser? Or use a mans beer, like guiness stout!
Actually shit beer work perfect....no need to use the "good stuff" Ive been using MGD and it tastes just as good as anchorsteam. Plus you have that guilt looming over you as you pour the stuff down the drain.
I should put up another one...I took pics for chicken chili over rice...just not sure how it would go over.
