Don't flatter yourself. Your posts reflect one of the most dense people I have ever encountered on any internet message board. The fact that you would even think you could ever get a rise out of me makes me almost fall off my chair with laughter.

Would that not be in response to getting a rise out of you? And sorry, but I don't believe I called you any names. There a reason why you resorted to such a thing so quickly? Maybe you could state your age of 18 or less and it will all become very clear.

I don't even know what you're going on about anymore. Well done.

yeh, i agree his track selection has been poor as late......i mean the ammount of promos, white labels accitates he gets in the mail every week, surely there must be some great tunes ammongst it all that he could stick in his box....and get rid of some of the dead wood, and not get stuck playing the same stuff gig after gig

Okay, I will just end it with the simple fact that you constantly talk out of your ass and will obviously continue to do so. By the way, I saw PvD not too long ago at Crobar in NYC and he kicked ass. One of the best sets ever and everyone who was there can agree and has agreed. You are just looking for something that simply does not exist and will just continue to be unhappy with dj performances. Sucks to be you.

Jesus wept. Well done for summarising every retarded point and assumption you've made so far, into this one particularly stupid post. Fucking hell.

oh btw its not all about talents. if it all was about talents then we would have thousands of Tiestos running around. Since he is not talaneted at all when it comes to mixing :/

Oh it was good, trust me (I WAS there after all), he played his classics just as an encore, a little EXTRA for evryone. His set was until 3 am then people and the promoter asked for "one more" and he gave us an encore with 3 classics.

Posted by Dee Fox on Jul-05-2005 17:25:

wow that escalated quickly, i mean that really got out of hand =) well thanks for the input i might actually move to europe or at least stay there for a good 3 months once i pay off some of this debt i owe lol. Shit maybe someday i'll be the next big thing and people will be like wow that guy posted on tranceaddict haha =)

Agreed.

Mikey, only long time followers of Paul will know this. He hasn't been on the top of his game. Let's just hope he's saving it all for TPOD2.

For you on the surface fans out there (like the guy started this post), PvD 2005 is shit compared to years past. It's the truth, but you don't know it because your scope of knowledge in his music is very thin. I recomend you look at sets from 1999 and 2002 to see what I mean.

Posted by Wyndham on Jul-05-2005 22:03:

yea his sets have definately fallen off lately... i've seen him this year, last year in toronto... year before in godskitchen, birmingham and his sets definately used to be a lot better... lol every set ends or begins with time of our lives or nothing but u..buuuut hes still probably my fav all time dj.

Spot on. If I wanted to listen to a DJ bang out shit as weak sounding as Andy Moor / Markus Schulz etc. i'd go listen to Armin van Buuren. Nothing fucks me off more than a fan that thinks a DJ can do no wrong. There is a lot of good music out there. How some people can be so easily pleased is beyond my comprehension.

indeed,,, and for some people this sound is good music. i don`t see nothing wrong with this ?

if Paul is loving this sound, you, or anyone else for this matter, cannot change his mind! eh eh eh.

just accept it and be cool. if you don`t like, then don`t dance

Yeah but that doesn't change the fact that a lot of what he's playing is the same Markus / Armin garbage, and you can't deny that.

yes, and i don`t see a problem with that. it 'is' garbage for you and maybe for others, but in the bottom line, paul loves these tracks and will play them as he gigs around......... :~

What makes PVD such a good dj is that he changes his style to suit the crowd and the occasion. When he plays locations that are prob not as upfront with the music he tends to play some older stuff, as he does if its a big event. But we seen him at Cream, Liverpool earlier this year and he was amazing and the only tracks he played that we knew were still new good tracks and none of the tracks that he has been playing for the last few years. Obviously he will always drop 1 or 2 old tracks in a set which in my opinion makes a good set.

Posted by gizzymcg on Jul-06-2005 21:46:

PVD is ALWAYS hit and miss as far as im concerned. When at his best he plays "PVD hard trance" totally bangs it out with big riffs and blistering beats. At big events when he plays like that few can argue how good he is. However from 2003 onwards those sets are few and far between. At the moment he is caught between floaty and tech-trance and all his sets seem 2 b very random changing styles way too often for any rhythm for the crowd he would b playing to.

I hope he brings back the banging stuf for Cream 10th bday party.

well productions have to do with it also, pvd has had some many great productions and his a great dj, top of my list imo, in the other hands tiesto has had great productions also, his been slippin these past few years but his still in that top 5 producers/djs in the trance scene, in other hands some people put armin after pvd for djin at the moment, that might be true, but i feel that armin isnt that much of a great producer, oh yeah and ferry is second for me at the moment. yeah well bottom line is i think productions play a big role in becomin famous and djin also, i mean u have great producers that arent djs and not that famous. thats my view, i might be wrong.
