Y-Traxx- 'Mysteryland' I think

Is this supposed to be a representation of the 'Crasher 98-00 sound'? Christ. I will always remember the Red N Black 3 night. It was a nice mix of decent tracks and classics from that era, accompanied by a nice selection of anthems. I think this was the last ever monthly, and if ever there was a time to have brought out a classics album, that would have been the perfect moment to do it. This however, I will not be buying.

I've a white label '05 remix of this tune that I play alot, brings back memories of the original which is one of the first tunes that ever caught my ear and shook it.

You are correct.

Posted by Tegu on Jul-06-2005 01:48:

i wish it included a dvd of club footage and interviews

Posted by Shizane2002 on Jul-09-2005 15:54:

Has GC ever included DVD and club interviews?

Posted by DJ Mikey Mike on Jul-09-2005 15:56:

They have been promising a DVD ever since GC was at the Millenium Dome in 2000. However, they are shit and therefore there is still no DVD.

only 200 better tracks, and its 'filth'?

as for the dvd, i was at a crasher classics night and they had a camcorder guy there, what the hell do they do with the footage?
(not just crasher, ive seen it at other club nights, but to my knowledge its never available)

Man I bet that was a solid event...classics? Did you like it?

I planned to go. But my unit decided to go fuck around in the Colorado desert during the same time...and I was forced to go...I could have attended classics...

Agreed. A lot of nice tracks on this compilation....

....just like the tracks on Gatecrasher Red, Gatercrasher Black, Gatecrasher Wet (or Blue however you look at it), Gatecrasher Disco-Tek and Gatecrasher GLobal.

All the same songs that i bought 5 years ago are now being repackaged back to me as classics?

10. Cevin Fishers Big Freak - The Freaks Come Out (Sharp Freaks At Trade Mix)
11. Ruff Driverz Feat. Arrola - Dreaming
12. Hands Burn - Good Shot
13. Billy Hendrix - Body Shine

Same mix straight from GC Black.

Glad this made it onto a classics CD. Its terribly underrated.

much wub Chris, much wub ! <3 :-)

Billy Hendrix - Body Shine also owns!

Great tracks but horrible mixing. Definitely sounds like a computer mixing, or someone that cannot blend tracks into another.

Oh well, it is classics.

Posted by MarathonMan on Jul-10-2005 13:21:

YAAAAAAAAWN!!! Who doesn't have these tracks already??? Garbage comp IMO

Posted by Skagdog on Jul-10-2005 13:37:

Tunes all look good but why on earth are some of them the wrong remixes? The classic mix of Silence is the Tiesto mix and the Matt Darey mix of Binary Finary is not even the 2nd best mix let alone the best. And who chose the running order of the tracks?? Some prat. There is no way Urban Train should be the 2nd track of a cd straight after Y Traxx. Its like all the names of the tunes have been just picked out of a hat.

And if I wanted a classic cd set like this I would just go and mix it myself and it would contain the right mixes and in a better order. Which is prob what most people would do.

Because, of course yours is the definitive opinion on this Earth. I'm sure you wouldn't mind hearing Tiesto's mix of Silence for the billionth time, rather than a less-played but arguably just as good Fade mix. And I bet we'd have Paul Van Dyk's over-rinsed and slightly uninspired take on 1998, rather than Darey's spine-tingling electric version.

looks like a nice complilation..when does it come out? or is it already out?

Posted by shades_of_gray on Jul-11-2005 01:12:

why would i want to buy it when i have all tracks on black, red, wet and disco tech.....its just something for the kids to buy

we all know the fade mix is better than the syrupy tiesto mix, the overlooked Matt Darey mix of 98 is on a par if not better than the PvD or original mixes
