And ultimate power leads to ultimate corruption, which in turn destroys the very fabric of any government because it places the interests of a very few (either big business or the gov't elite) above those of everyone else (it's citizen's)
The misuse of political power for personal fulfillment/gratification is eating at the core of our Nation. It goes by many names, such as Crony Capitalism or even just plain nepotism.
So if you're not willing to at least try and help repair the system, then that means you're just another sellout instrumental in perpetuating it's demise (a.k.a. a traitor to many of the the ideologies in which our country was originally founded upon.)

It's people like you, or at least those who have promoted that very idea, who throughout history have sold their own people as slaves.
At least I understand your mentality now as this will help me put your posts into better perspective.

Slaves? Are you a slave? Who is my people?
And i'm glad you can understand my mentality through a forum. You're a genious.
I'm sarcastic too. Add that to your 'file' on my mentality.

Well, since you haven't figured it out by now (in the 3+ years you've been on TA
) - unless you use the sarcasm smiley in your post, it doesn't translate very well on message boards. I didn't want to say anything, but since you just admitted that you were TRYING to be stupid I guess I should feel free to comment.
And despite whatever it is that you may want to believe, you're not really important enough to warrant a "file."

9/11 is connected with iraq for the simple fact that 9/11 was a terrorist attact and thats what we are doing in iraq, trying to stop terrorism in the middle east from spreading, and u know why, because we dont want to fight the war in USA but we fight it in iraq. and slowly we can set democratic govt so people can have a different mentallity, if we didnt do this, we would all be fuck, not just america but the whole world. why does everybody have to start protesting about the war, well its for your own good, alot of people dont realize that.

Aww, you are my people then? How sweet!.
Anyway, stupid and sarcastic are two different things. You are free to comment, I give you permission.
I don't use sarcasm smileys either so get used to it.

Really?! Damn, I must have missed the day they taught that in English class, back in what, like 7th grade?
And by stupid I was referring to your regular use of dumb one-liners that have basically nothing at all to do with anything in this thread except for someone who was referring to the President getting BJ's in office - which was definitely not George H. W. Bush.
You're just diverting the discussion with your idiotic comments because you obviously can't think of anything substantial to add to it.

Dude, are you like some 14 year old trying to explain this to me from what you've heard on the corporate controlled news? Maybe you should just start reciting some more propaganda while you're at it so that I can get an even better laugh.
I've actually spent over a few hundred hours researching this, beginning with the rise of the radical Islamists who based many of their ideologies on those of Egyptian Islamist Sayyid Qutb (1906-66).
Iraq had nothing to do with 9/11, and our invasion of it is only causing more terrorism by creating terrorists where there were none before.
Try at least reading some CIA or Congressional reports instead of relying on the boob-tube for your information, which is amazingly false. If you really need to look to a multi-media outlet for your news, at least try turning the channel to C-Span.
It's amazing how confident people are in their mass-media induced ignorance.

I don't need to write 3 paragraphs of pure crap to say what I want to say.
And again I was talking about the bombs not the BJ's. How many times?

By the way, do you support Islam? Where do you stand on all of this?

The thing is, you really don't seem to be saying ANYTHING. You can be like Bill Clinton and argue yourself in circles about semantics all you want, but that's just deflecting the real argument.
And again I never said YOU were talking about BJ's, that was the person to whom you responded when you referenced Bush Sr., who was never reported to have been doing so in the White House.
Come on dude, this is getting old. I'm beginning to feel like I'm arguing with my little brother (when he was about 6 years old.) You aren't really making much sense here.

I support every person's right to support anything that they want so long as it doesn't impede on mine or other's personal freedoms. Who's to say that any one religion is above all others? When you're dealing in dogma how can you be certain that you're not simply being fed someone else's false interpretation of whatever the verse, scripture or passage may be?
I do read the Old Testament from time to time, but I'm not too inclined to lean in any one direction, religion-wise. I think that just about each and every religion has it's own positive guiding principles whether it be Buddhism, Hindu, Christianity, Judaism, Islam, Zoroastrianism, etc.

What question didn't I answer and I'll be sure to do so immediately - just because I find that arguing about nothing on an internet message board is of such extreme importance.
Now THAT's sarcasm.

Apparently it has been keeping you busy for a little while, but that's not the point.
I'll repeat the question once again. Where do you stand on all of this? You've been doing so much research and so much here and there so I wanna know a thought of your own, don't recite me page 67 in some political book you read last month cause that's not what I want.
It's a simple question and I expect an specific answer.

Would you mind elaborating on what "this" is? I'm trying to figure out what it is you are even asking me.
When I answered you a couple of posts ago I had thought that the question was about supporting Islam, but apparently I was wrong.
Speak boy, speak! I'd like to know what you are trying to say so that I can answer it and be done.
