It's not the best mix in the world i know. But it's just because it came at a really memorable time in my life. Hearing it now brings back floods of memories.

I was always into all types of dance music like euro, freestyle, hi-nrg, italo disco, synthpop and ebm but I got into trance 3 years ago so I'm sorta a noob here. I didn't know much about the music, so what I did was just search the word "trance" in WinMX or Kazaa and downloaded whatever came up. Here are some of my favorite mixes:

ha ok i've posted this a few times but it never gets old!

paul oakenfold - essential mix from china 1999. holy shit i was sooooo fucking amazed by it. would not leave my winamp. it was on 24/7. i would use to pretend to be pete tong saying "live from the rohjam in shanghai.........china" i woud lawl all day to that.

but first there was sasha & digweed - northern exposure. my friend's DAD would listen to it when we were driving somewhere. and i would be like are we listening to!??!??! soooo cooool. i fell in love with it...but didn't know how to go about finding more

and even before THAT there was, of course, groove radio. nuff said
