So you enjoy pumping your own gas in the middle of the winter knee deep in the snow.....NJ might be ass backwards on a lot of things but pumping your own gas must stay and NO you don't have to tip them.

Don't they have canopies over the pumps in NJ gas stations?

on my way back from my last nyc trip i filled up in jersey for $2.24/gal. the whole ride home i looked for cheaper gas and it was nowhere to be found. i can't complain and no i didn't tip this time but i did last time.

I paid $2.17 in Toms River like a week ago. Luckily, I pass thru there quite a bit so that's one of my regular stops for gas.

In Newtown (closest gas station to me) it's $2.55. Ridiculous price for such a small town IMO.

What do you guys pay in the city?

i was in manhattan a few months ago and gas there was cheaper than it is in my town - by like 10 cents. i only notice prices for premium but today gas was up to $2.71. it's painful but not as bad as it was earlier this year.

Arrow

What gas u need? regular-silver-super.!!!

When you go to the gas station, u fill up your may tank with regular silver or super gas right? This is your choice. In fact in some gas stations(But in summer time most of them) have same gas. How? as you know there are huge tanks under the gas stations.when silver gas is finished or almost finished they put regular to the silver side and super side.So when u getting silver or super u may get regular. For now u cant feelt it cuz this is summer and it is hot. your engine is not gonna bother you but in winter it is almost impossible to do it. So be Carefull.

And i think that figures why some gas stations have less price than others..

Wow dude... grammar check your action before you send it out, please.... And, gas stations cannot get away with that as the fuel is tested quite often by state inspectors. You would also notice a lower grade gas in a car that is designed to run only on 93 octane - the effects are quite obvious. Enough of this thread for me tho...
